The Anderson Family: September 2013
http://joshandersonfamily.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 25, 2013. If your job was to document the goings on of this house from the hours of 11pm to 6am, you would not be bored. Some parents tell me they sleep fine, but if you were to ask me to define parenthood in one phrase, I'd probably go with "lack of sleep." "Sacrifice" is probably more accurate, but at 4:45am, having been woken up once already, "lack of sleep" seems more spot on. She's also in a beat the crap out of them phase. If you were 2, Julia would be the last 2 year old y...

The Anderson Family: May 2013
http://joshandersonfamily.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 17, 2013. Hey, it finally got warm! And you know the saying, "April showers bring May roof leaks! Luckily the roof was put on right before we got the house so there is a 10 year leak warranty on it. Unluckily the company seems very surly and uncooperative. Next order of business: bugs. Hopefully it will tone down some though. Preferably go away of course. .cause it causes problems. Being that it's summer, more or less, we went out yesterday afternoon to get Ben and Julia squirt guns. Ben ...

The Anderson Family: April 2013
http://joshandersonfamily.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 19, 2013. I mean.rain.er, hail. Wait.snow! Ya, so my 1 year old can jump off two feet (since 12 months), can dribble a ball and is in the 97th percentile for height and weight. I'm going to start sending out recruiting video's and see who's gonna sign her up first. Doesn't matter which sport, she'll learn to like it (cause I'm not returning the Porche! Meanwhile outside, it finally started to get nice around here, until the weather remembered that this is Wisconsin and just went crazy.

The Anderson Family: "No Problem. If I can get a dessert down him, think you can throw in a couple of Paul Bunyan hat's for the kids? "
http://joshandersonfamily.blogspot.com/2010/10/no-problem-if-i-can-get-dessert-down.html
Wednesday, October 20, 2010. No Problem. If I can get a dessert down him, think you can throw in a couple of Paul Bunyan hat's for the kids? Beth told her co-workers that she had eaten a snail while on vacation. As she boldly proclaimed her Beowolfian boast, and her beamish joy shone forth, her co-workers kindly informed her that what she ate was a sea. Snail, not a land. Snail like the real French eat. She didn't answer, but I told him he did a good job. Posted by Josh Anderson. Hitting on a little Fren...

The Anderson Family: Because I do
http://joshandersonfamily.blogspot.com/2013/11/because-i-do.html
Sunday, November 10, 2013. The title of the post come from Julia; it was her answer when she's questioned about why she did something. "Julia, did you throw that car? Because I throw it.". She's already getting better at expressing herself though. Quite a bit of change lately all around by the kiddos. Beth is back to attempting to find balance with work and home. She's doing amazingly well for how much is required of her at work. And I am not sleeping. Not much at any rate. Got kids waking up at ...Ben w...

The Anderson Family: July 2013
http://joshandersonfamily.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 23, 2013. I wish. When we were dating, I blanked on Jordan's middle name when Beth asked me, so she started guessing and one of her guesses was "Balloon". She was being silly, but ever since I've considered it one of the best middle names ever. Benjamin Balloon Anderson. Julia Balloon Anderson. Samuel Balloon Anderson. It just rolls off the tongue. But alas, twas not to be. It's been a little over a week and a half and I think (I hope! We had Julia's party the weekend before her birthday fo...

The Anderson Family: June 2013
http://joshandersonfamily.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 21, 2013. Pool, bikes and chess. So Ben graduated 4K! And of course we had a graduation ceremony to celebrate, lest any normal, everyday accomplishment go unrecognized. Now with all this free time we've been able to have playdates with Ben's friends every day! No) Every other day! Uh uh) We've had one since school ended! Wrong) Ok, so he's occasionally seen some friends at the pool. Remember, she's still not two, and she can ride Ben's old bike.the one with 14" wheels. Ben started ri...Beth,...

The Anderson Family: Today was a good day.
http://joshandersonfamily.blogspot.com/2010/09/today-was-good-day.html
Friday, September 24, 2010. Today was a good day. Any day that you end up eating duck gizzards for dinner is a good day. I think. Beth played hooky today! Sort of.she didn't have any work to do at work and would have just sat there twiddling thumbs, which admittedly is not an easy task to maintain for 16 hours. So we started out by having breakfast at our breakfast cafe. It was lovely. Then we headed to the aquarium. We got off the train, went up the stairs, turned left and BAM! Ben had a blast! The othe...
