My Shepherd leads

Monday, February 9, 2015. Looking Back and Longing for Egypt. My BSF teacher leader stepped all over my toes tonight when she spoke about the sin of the Israelites on their Promised Land journey, for complaining against the Lord, and wishing they were still back in Egypt. We are studying the life of Moses, and tonight we were in Numbers 11:4. The foreign rabble traveling with the Israelites began to crave the good things of Egypt, and the people of Israel began to complain.". To extend our weekends and e...

My Shepherd leads: May 2010

http://www.myshepherdleads.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html

Monday, May 31, 2010. This is the day the Lord has made. It is all about knowing Jesus. It is in the suffering, in the taking our eyes off the temporary - and placing them on the eternal, that we come to know Jesus. And as Paul said, nothing else matters. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). My Shepherd leads: August 2010

http://www.myshepherdleads.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html

Friday, August 20, 2010. We just returned home from the beach. My girls had never been to the beach, and I would never have thought we would get to go this year! What an unexpected blessing from God! Our sweet friends, the Darwins, rented a beach house in Surf Side that slept 10 - and had plenty of left over space. So they asked us if we would like to join them on their vacation! Can you believe it? All we had to do was drive down there! Ok - so there is Amy's dad holding Emma's crab. And I soaked up the...

My Shepherd leads: Tassels on Clothing

http://www.myshepherdleads.blogspot.com/2012/08/tassels-on-clothing.html

Monday, August 13, 2012. Making Madeleine cry - making myself cry - making Emma cower - making Billy come home AGAIN to ill- tempers, bad behavior (mine and the girls) - awful. I sit in ashes and dust. Oh Lord, help me let the small stuff go, and help me to know what is small and what is mighty! Help me allow the house to be a wreck, to sleep more, pray more, sit and read with my darling ones more, help me wear tassels on my clothing to remember! I cannot allow them to speak to me that.

The Hale Adventures: The Preschool Picnic

http://marshahale.blogspot.com/2010/04/preschool-picnic.html

Thursday, April 15, 2010. Our preschool had a picnic/game time for all the preschool classes. Each class had a different color shirt. We brought a picnic lunch and then each class competed in different games against each other. Every class seemed to get in first place because we all got a ribbon. I don't know how that happened. The "balancing an egg on the spoon game". April 30, 2010 at 12:50 PM. She cracks me up! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Looking Back and Longing for Egypt.

Saturday, May 15, 2010. Casey took ballet this year for the first time. The class is called Dancing Angels and they are a Christian based dance class. Casey has enjoyed going to ballet all year, but I believe the highlight of the year was the recital. All of the dances were performed to Christian songs. She was so excited when she put on her ballet costume. She kept saying, "I can't wait to get on stage! Hailey, Casey, and Olivia. A few practice moves, and we are ready to go. Then she spots daddy.

The Hale Adventures: January 2010

http://marshahale.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html

Thursday, January 28, 2010. I am doing my best to just stay current with my pictures and such. I didn't want to go back and create previous months of blogs so Throwback Thursday is what I came up with (really couldn't think of anything else). It might be Rewind Wednesday, Flashback Friday, perhaps Monday's Memories. Anyway, this is from this past Christmas.November 30th to be exact. It can't be Christmas without a little "Jingle Bells". The Hale Adventures: February 2010

http://marshahale.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html

Sunday, February 14, 2010. Well, tooth # 2 came out. Actually, she pulled it out. It happened while she was brushing her teeth. I ran and got the video camera and got her pulling her tooth on tape. I will spare you the video. Thursday, February 11, 2010. Is it Christmas again? This is what we woke up to on Thursday. Casey looked out the door and said, "Is it Christmas again? It snowed Christmas eve this year). Remember when Kathryn would pretend to be Cinderella and clean the floors with a baby wipe?

The Hale Adventures: December 2009

http://marshahale.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html

Saturday, December 19, 2009. I had heard about Santa Land for a couple of years from Jeff's aunt Pam, but this was the first year that we have actually gone. It was adorable to say the least. And free. We got to go in and out of little decorated house. They even had a Christmas princess. Casey thought she was great. An actual princess. Both girls got wands. Again, Kathryn walked up to her and we were shocked. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Looking Back and Longing for Egypt. Quote Of The Day {QOTD}.

Monday, June 14, 2010. Day 1 cont. - Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique was one of the favorites that the girls did at Disney World. I highly recommend it. I read a lot about it and they recommended having the girls' hair brushed and ready to go. Seeing that I could not even remember brushing their hair in the first place that day, I brought a brush along to brush while we waited. Let the transformation begin. Casey wanted to know what everything. On that tray was used for. Now it's 6...

The Hale Adventures: Disney World 2010 - Getting there 2

http://marshahale.blogspot.com/2010/06/disney-world-2010-getting-there-2.html

Monday, June 14, 2010. Disney World 2010 - Getting there 2. We decided that 1:30 pm would be a good time to eat lunch. (We ate breakfast at 6:45 am at the airport) Although parents were famished, we were not about to wake up the girls. So we drove until Casey woke up. Unfortunately, Kathryn was still asleep and we would have to wake her up. This involved a bit of crankiness (sleepy and hungry is not a good combo for Kathryn Hale). Casey in front of Steak and Shake. Kathryn. Wanted no part of this picture.

http://marshahale.blogspot.com/2010/06/disney-world-2010-getting-there.html

Monday, June 14, 2010. Disney World 2010 - getting there. There are so many pictures from Disney World (as one can imagine) so this post will take several entries. These pictures weretaken at the McDonald's in the airport at 6:23 am. At this point,we have already been up for almost 2 hours. Some special friends gifted us with airline tickets that would fly us to Jacksonville, FL and once there, we would rent a car and drive the rest of the way to Orlando. We are very thankful. Quote Of The Day {QOTD}.

He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.'.
