Saturday, 26 September 2015. Five for Friday with a Freebie. How has it been almost three weeks since my last blog post? I vowed to keep up with this blog when I created it, but this first month of school has been kicking my butt. I feel like I'm still trying to get back into the swing of things, so hopefully I will be able to start blogging more often again. Today, I'm linking up with Doodle Bugs Teaching. For Five for Friday to recap my week and share a bit of what has been happening in my classroom.

Sunday, March 01, 2015. Hahaha, JK, I only have 1 follower. That is the reason I do not write often. It would be much more motivating to see followers. Then I would get excited about writing and want to share so much! I see I have viewers – from all around the globe. That is exciting. Please, please, please, follow me! I do wonder how long it took some of my favourite bloggers to get a following. Well, lots going on in this constant -22C weather. Like lots of indoor recesses! Well, maybe not so well.

We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give. I don't know about your school, but we have some absolutely amazing volunteers at our school. We have a group of three wonderful ladies that run copies, make whatever you need, cut things out, and pretty much anything you can name for our entire school. All we do is put what we need in a box and in a few hours we come back and poof, it's magically done! So once a year we get together to honor all of the volunteers at our school. The foo...

Sunday, September 28, 2014. Since I missed the first week of school, other than the first hour, I considered the second week to be the first. We started working on our First Day of School Booklets from. For math, we explored different ways to represent a number. For example – 20 can be shown by 2 base ten rods, 20 smiley faces, $20, 20 tally marks, etc. Students picked their own number and showed at least 5 ways to represent it in their math journals. Baggies to put them in. Sunday, September 28, 2014.
