Thursday, March 11, 2010. Tonight was our school conferences for Carly and Zoey. We had Zoey's first. Having received multiple notes home this year about Zoey's behavior in school, we were sure that it wasn't going to be a pleasent conference. She is above and beyond and a real leader in her class. Her teacher has noticed that she acts out when she gets bored. So, Zoey has been working on some 1st grade material and now seems to be on track. Then the bad news came. She has a boyfriend (E)!

Sunday, October 25, 2009. Tomorrow Zoey's kindergarten class is having a bake sale during Parent/Teacher Conferences. After a month of trial and error, I decided to make chocolate dipped Oreo cookies on a stick. I think they turned out pretty good. I used a pkg of Mint Oreos and a pkg of regular Oreos. Tuesday, January 26, 2010. Abby turned 4 today! We had tacos for supper, her choice. A delicious chocolate cake I picked up from Walmart last week and put in the freezer. Friday, March 27, 2009. Here are some pictures of the final flood push. The helicopter you see is that coast guard that came to rescue the neighbors to the northwest, and the boat is the coast guard coming to rescue us. Thursday morning, 4:00- water is coming in the windows and over the dike in some spots. We put up a water dike to try to control the water.
