Meiers In The Americas. Saturday, July 29, 2006. Other than that I've just been chilling out around town, trying to learn some more Spanish and enjoying the impressive night life here. Still no Shakira, but who knows, tonight may be the night. ;-). Posted by Goben and Meiers at 11:16 AM. Sunday, July 23, 2006. It means don't worry, for the rest of your days. Mum, that was a joke). Meiers In The Americas: May 2006
http://meiersintheamericas.blogspot.com/2006_05_01_archive.html
Meiers In The Americas. Sunday, May 28, 2006. Now I know I previously said that I was done with ruins, but it would have been a bit stupid to miss out on Tikal, some of the finest Mayan ruins around, while I was on the area, so I rocked on over to check them out. I won’t bother with the history of Tikal, other than to point out that it was formed under the rule of King Yax Moch Xoc around AD230 and flourished under King Great Jaguar Paw in the mid-4th century. You can’t go wrong with names like that!

Meiers In The Americas. Monday, September 25, 2006. Who is this man you may well be thinking? You know that you've seen him on countless t-shirts and heard the name, but if you were anything like me you might not be able to say exactly what he did. So let me explain. Ladies, if you're thinking of visiting Argentina then don't get your hopes up as I've been informed the beautiful Argentine polo players you'll be expecting are few and far between and the men in general aren't up to much! Well, it’s got to ...

Meiers In The Americas: March 2006
http://meiersintheamericas.blogspot.com/2006_03_01_archive.html
Meiers In The Americas. Thursday, March 23, 2006. Meiers On A Board! I never thought it would happen, but yesterday it did: I tried snow boarding! I probably wasn't the coolest boarder on the mountain, with my tight ski trousers, skier style jacket and geeky helmet, but I did seem to pick it up pretty quickly. On my very first run I'd managed to figure out how to turn and being a cocky git I did a jump (ok a little one, but still a jump) and managed to land it! Posted by Goben and Meiers at 12:01 PM.

Meiers In The Americas. Friday, June 30, 2006. Volcano Boarding in Nicaragua. He's since then set up a hostel in the local city, Leon, and developed a new sport - volcano boarding. So he's modified his boards and now has what he thinks is the perfect board for flying down the side of the volcano on your ass. Overall a really good day out, but if I ever go back I'll definitely be putting the breaks on! Posted by Goben and Meiers at 10:34 AM. Wednesday, June 28, 2006. Dolphins and Crazy People. Now when it...

Meiers In The Americas. Wednesday, October 18, 2006. I hope you're keeping well. Life in Buenos Aires is still going well, although I'm being a bit of a geek these days and spending the odd night in studying. Such is the life of a now full time student. Chau y buen suerte (good luck) as they say in these parts. Posted by Goben and Meiers at 2:08 PM. Thursday, October 12, 2006. River Plate vs Boca. Quickly remembering that Argentina isn’t exactly England’s greatest fan (a war and few footballing conflicts...

Meiers In The Americas: December 2005
http://meiersintheamericas.blogspot.com/2005_12_01_archive.html
Meiers In The Americas. Thursday, December 29, 2005. At last, some decent snow! It's been tipping down here for the last few days and the runs are now awesome. Done a few harsh black diamonds with powder up to my knees, and managed to get stuck in a snow hole which was a major pain in the a* e to dig myself out of, but all good fun. Can't wait for more days like this, bring on the rest of the season! Posted by Goben and Meiers at 6:20 PM. Sunday, December 25, 2005. Posted by Goben and Meiers at 9:42 PM.

Meiers In The Americas. Saturday, April 29, 2006. Houston, We Have A Problem. And in the museam they had some pods that had actually been to space and back, and the interior made the Barclays yacht look like a luxury cruise liner! We then headed over to see Eryn's Aunt Jan (who had just about recovered from me dropping here 4 days previously) and Uncle Bob, who wined and dined us for the evening. Thanks very much, was great to see you both! Posted by Goben and Meiers at 10:51 PM. Wednesday, April 26, 2006.
