I have good basic mobility, but have been looking for a mobility scooter that would work for someone my size, to help with walking longer distances, like at airports, festivals, or department stores. A standard heavy duty scooter (that holds up to 450 lbs) worked for me, but to transport one by myself I'd need a lift and a vehicle that could support it. My online travel album. Athens Here We Come! November 18, 2016. Yesterday we made a quick decision to go to Athens, so today I reserved our tickets. We will be leaving on 9th of December in the morning and returning to Sofia on the 11th in the evening, so it’s a short weekendtrip, but much needed, because that travel bug is starting to itch.
