formulaic..at its best: January 2010
http://formula-ic.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Formulaic.at its best. Adjective: Being of no special quality or type: average, common, run-of-the-mill. Yep, that about sums it up! Thursday, January 28, 2010. Nice bike, but a bad helmet! This training stuff hurts! This whole time I have been worried that I would be losing my training fitness. Slower on the bike; slower on the swim (as if that was possible); slower on the run. It turns out I should have been worried about losing the fitness in my butt! I mean…my butt is sore…. I have saddle sores….

Formulaic.at its best. Adjective: Being of no special quality or type: average, common, run-of-the-mill. Yep, that about sums it up! Monday, June 28, 2010. Red Bull saved my race! Round two of CDA for me. Unlike last year I did not lose my wetsuit the day before the race! The morning started bright and early for me. I spent most of the night worrying about waking up and because it was just me (the family stayed back home this time); I was doubly worried that I would miss my wake up call. Lo and b...Down ...

Formulaic.at its best. Adjective: Being of no special quality or type: average, common, run-of-the-mill. Yep, that about sums it up! Saturday, June 26, 2010. Dancin in the Flame. Sometimes a song just says it best:. Woke up this morning, a thousand. It would be so easy. Oh but I know I'll never change. Cause I love the long shot. And the left out lost causes. Hanging out in the back of the pack. With the dark horses. I ride the wrong road just as fast as I can. God knows there's no one else to blame.

Formulaic.at its best. Adjective: Being of no special quality or type: average, common, run-of-the-mill. Yep, that about sums it up! Monday, May 17, 2010. The good, the bad and the ugly. Well the good news is that I did Rage another year. I was able to eek out another 70.3. The bad news is that I barely eeked it out! It wasn’t quiet up to last year’s performance (but just barely). The ugly news is that I still have a lot. Of work to do before CDA. I need to work on something. Still even with all the jumb...

http://ramblingbydesign.blogspot.com/2009/04/breaking-through-rage-race-report.html
Sunday, April 19, 2009. Breaking Through . . . RAGE Race Report! Season Opener, RAGE Olympic Distance Triathlon. Run: 6.2 miles. I was gunning for a huge PR and got one! 46 minutes off of last year's time! Last years' time: 4:46:xx. This years' time: 4:00:02. Now, I really wanted to break four hours on this course. But, seriously, who am I to quibble over 3 seconds. Can we say " close enough. I think those three seconds are a sign. Of more work to be done and more awesome breakthroughs to come! Something...

On the Edge: Fun + Hard Core: Iron Girl 2010 Race Report
http://ramblingbydesign.blogspot.com/2010/05/fun-hard-core-iron-girl-2010-race.html
Saturday, May 15, 2010. Fun Hard Core: Iron Girl 2010 Race Report. What can I say about this race? With some hard core elements. I decided to do Iron Girl after being sherpa for my friend Leslie last year. And then renewed that decision when Izaac peer pressured me and Kelly to sign up. Honestly, I'd never been drawn to woman only races. And until Iron Girl arrived there were none here locally. I was under trained going into this race. Truly that is all I wanted. Under trained or not, I am a 3 year triat...

Under my own steam. Friday, November 6, 2009. 0 days (the night before). The countdown clock on my blog says 0 days! Dude Wow. It's here. Tomorrow is race day. Today, we picked up our packets; ate several times; dropped off our bikes and bags of gear per race instructions; and checked out all the transition areas. We did all of the stuff that we were supposed to do. This is where we had to drop our T2. Bike to run transition) gear.-. Now, we just have to race. Under my own steam. WAY TO FREAKING GO!
