I was stopped in traffic on Woodmont Boulevard yesterday and looked over to see a huge stand of forsythia by the side of the road. My life, plain and simple! Thursday, January 29, 2009. This is Katie- She totally captured my heart before I even realized who she was. She would just talk, talk, talk to me like I totally understood what she was saying. She hugged me from the start and would do this sweet little kiss on the cheek when we would depart company. She is a total angel. LOVE THIS GIRL! Carlos-Maribel's 2nd boy-11. The whole time I was there I thought there was just a sadness in his eyes (wonder why). Isn't this picture fun!

The day finally came: May 13, 2017 - Daniel's graduation from the University of Tennessee. And what a great day it was! The graduates don't sit in alphabetical order. They are given a placard with their name as they want it read and what degree that they are receiving. The diplomas are mailed out later, so the graduates received rolled up fake diplomas. Daniel got to sit with some of his friends.
