Sunday, May 18, 2008. OK, so I'm a little behind on my blog updates. What else is new? Here's my first real big snow day (It was on President's Day so dad was off work - you know those state employees). I'm only 3 months behind, right? Here we are getting ready for all the fun. Mom sure is a great mom (but she is not very good at coordinating her socks :). Bundled up and ready to go! This is my neighborhood blanketed with snow. Dad is making snow angels and showing me how it's done.

Of course this weekend was Easters (I know it's not with an "S," but that was for Justin and Beth, if they read this), and Justin and I went over to Ryan and Nancy's for some egg hunt entertainment. We watched Hannah and the other kids hunt eggs, which was in fact, quite entertaining! We then came home and enjoyed some R&R after a busy weekend.

Notes on being a primate on Earth. An American in Hiroshima. The Atomic Bomb Dome, or Genbaku Dome, stands at the north end of Hiroshima Peace Park. It was one of the very few buildings where some walls remained after the bomb detonated. It has been preserved, not without controversy, as a monument to encourage people to never forget.
