Consumerism, A global dialect. Friday, February 4, 2011. Allan Kaprow's Happenings and todays' Reinvention. I definitely agree- he seemed very focused on creating art that couldnt stay the same, which is quite different from the the traditional historical view of art (i.e. one enduring image that will last forever)! I think he was aiming to redefine how art functions in society, as well as what art is.a question no one seems to have successfully found an answer for yet, unfortunately. Boom sports. Bam.

Digital Dada: Disassembling and Reassembling
http://caitgenovese.blogspot.com/2012/06/disassembling-and-reassembling.html
If you make artistic discoveries and if all of a sudden your head begins to crackle with laughter, if you find all your ideas useless and ridiculous, know that IT IS DADA BEGINNING TO SPEAK TO YOU. Tuesday, June 26, 2012. As I mentioned in my last post, I recently read Carol J. Adams' book entitled The Sexual Politics of Meat: A Feminist-Vegetarian Critical Theory. I don't have much to show, so I won't be posting anything today, but I've been chipping away at some sources from the Prelinger Archives.

While contemplating the ownership issues regarding to the phenomenon, we should really pay special attention to the aura, the idea, and the message of the work instead of blindly accusing others of copying. Sunday, April 29, 2012. In general, the formation of transmedia storytelling depends tightly on the dispersion of the story itself, and it needs the effort of both the grassroots and the story creator to survive. Friday, September 24, 2010. Modern ways of surveillance -a controversial character. Lynndie England holding a leash attached to a prisoner. To be honest, I was not shocked when watching Errol Morris. It is another example of exposing how dirty can human nature get when put in some "proper" circumstances like being a prison guard in Abu Ghraib prison. It's not hard to find an example to prove the heinous nature of human being. Just like the Hello Kitty murder. Surveillance camera in Chinese classroom.
