Taylan's team, Mystic walked away with a firt place win! They had their best performance so far! Taylan's bow and arrrow (she is on the far right). Taylan is in the extension on the right. Friday, September 12, 2008. Getting Ready for Hurricane IKE. Hurricane Ike is expected to reach Houston 3 am Saturday. We are expected to get 100 mile an hour winds. All the schools have been closed today, so I have the day off. One of the reasons I fell in love with our house is the massive tree in our front yard. Sunday, March 15, 2009. Lost My Sushi Virginity! We both got the cooked sushi (I'm not brave enough for the raw! We have never used chop sticks before, even when we get Chinese we use a fork. We asked for forks immediately. However, I wanted to get the full effect, and attempted the chop sticks. By the end of dinner, I think I was doing pretty well. We will definitely do it again, it was actually pretty good! I think we'll even try the sake next time. Hehe! Nat and Bryan, you have to come next time!

Monday, September 1, 2008. Summer really went fast, and now we are starting our second week of school. Friday, November 28, 2008. Cheerleading season has officially started! Taylan and her best friend Lexi. We had our first cheerleading competition last weekend. Our girls have worked so hard and it is paying off. This is only Texas Stars second season being opened. Since we have so many girls we are having to compete as a large gym. Not only is all-star cheerleading huge in Texas, it is ginormous in Houston! I am so proud of Taylan! She works so hard and loves to cheer! Taylan was a princess fairy.

Monday, January 19, 2009. First lost tooth, black eye and new family member. Braydyn lost her first tooth. She is so excited, and can't stop looking at herself in the mirror.
