Sunday, March 14, 2010. I hate that my innie is now an outie. Big preggo outie belly buttons are not cute. Ugh. So, I decided that surely there is a remedy to this problem. My remedy included clear packing tape. About 4 hours after the first application of tape, my belly button had busted through. Oh well. Thursday, March 11, 2010. 9 weeks and counting. Friday, July 23, 2010. We have a 4th of July celebration in our neighborhood. There is a parade where all the kids decorate their bikes and follow a firetruck down the streets. And apparently, there is nothing more awesome to a boy than a fireman. Then the firemen use the hose to spray water in the air and the kids run around in the 'rain'. Kyle loved it. Matthew did not. Although I think it has something to do with the fact that we told him that snakes live behind the garage (so he won't go there). A couple of weeks ago he said, as the AT&T guy is about to go behind the garage, "MOMMY! The TV man is going where the snakes live! The guy stopped, whipped around and looked at me in pure panic. Tuesday, August 2, 2011. My doctor thinks Lil may have been squishing my colon (causing the sharp pains on my left side, and my muscles may have been working overtime to move her over). Whatever it was, I'm glad it's over, and I'm glad that Lilia was never in any distress. We're 2 1/2 months away from having our first baby and I'm feeling so many different feelings, but overall I just want wait to have her here, and have this pregnancy over with!
