8-30-13 {A Birth Story}*. During the whole month of August I had been having a lot of contractions, some lasted a few seconds, other lasted minutes, very rarely were they painful. My due date is September 22nd. That is still almost a month away? I have been feeling ever since about 26 weeks that there is nooo way this boy is going to stay in there until the end of September! At my 34 week appointment I was already at a 1. But just barely. At my 35 week appointment I was at a 4. What's that? It was August 21st a full month before my due date and I am already at a 4? A little prego progression picture}. I have been having braxton hicks and bigger contractions for several weeks now.

Reese is 11 months old! Taking her picture while lying down was dang near impossible.because she can finally crawl! Now that she has experienced life as a mobile baby she rarely stays in one place for longer than 1 minute. It took just shy of 11 months to get those four limbs working together all at once, but this girl can move.fast! I am so glad she inherited those brown eyes! I have been trying to decide what Reese should be for Halloween for months. I wanted to make her costume but was feeling uninspired until my friend Kayla jokingly mentioned Reese should be a Ghost. (because she says BOO! I bought a t-shirt, some iron on patches, the toulle, her sandals and her hair bow all at Hobby Lobby. Made her tutu and shirt in like an hour. YesI have a crazy, one year old, yet somehow I find myself with a lot of quiet time. Reese has been a rock-star sleeper since we moved to AZ. She goes to sleep every night at 8:00pm and will sleep until 8:00am. (so happy about that because she was not a great sleeper until she was like 6-8 month old! She also takes a 2 hour nap everyday too. Jon, most days comes home for dinner then goes back to school until like 11:00 give or take an hour. I haven't shared any pictures yet. Visit from the Birds*. The Bird Family came to visit us in January for a few days. It was SO great to have them here! We went to the "Wild Life Zoo and Aquarium" about 30 minutes from our place. Sunday, October 20, 2013. So a few blocks from our apartment is a park where these trucks hang out and sell food. SO of course we had to give it a try. From the above truck we got this bbq brisket on baked potatoes. We also tried this southern BBQ sandwich, which was amazing. During spring break Paul decided to put his control theory skills to the test and build a robotic teeter totter that would balance a ping pong ball without dropping it.
