Judson's birthday was on a Friday this year, which meant he got to celebrate with his friends at school on the actual day. He got to bring treats. He chose ice cream sandwiches (and we brought popsicles, too), which made it VERY easy on me. We had a very full, fun day celebrating our big guy. He loved every minute of it! Tuesday, July 29, 2014. The kids love this book called We Share Everything. It's about two kindergarteners (a boy and a girl) who keep fighting over toys and activities. Every time they do, the teacher says, "Now look. This is kindergarten. In kindergarten we share. We share EVERYTHING." Finally after hearing this a few times, Jeremiah and Amanda decide to find something to share. They end up sharing their clothes and their teacher freaks out. Then they use her quote on her. Wednesday, January 7, 2015. When he's asleep, I desperately try to get the kitchen cleaned up and laundry washed (notice I didn't say "put away" ;). On top of that, you probably know that Porter had three febrile (fever-related) seizures in October and November. While they are the "good" kind to have, they are completely terrifying. Tuesday, August 19, 2014. A windy day at the beach. We have new neighbors from Maryland. Though she's originally from Alaska, we went to college with her brother. Michelle, a nurse, is so sweet. And my kids LOVE her! Sadly, they're only renting the house. The only place that was even remotely out of the wind had little chunks of charcoal everywhere, so we were instantly black all over, too. Not my favorite trip to the beach, though we did get ice cream and have fun with Michelle. Check out the chub!

Tuesday, June 17, 2014. So we've been to Monmouth, McMinnville, and Wilsonville for our fountain fun. I haven't taken many pictures while we've been out and about (I'll let you figure out why ;), but here are some cute ones from home. We borrowed Madi Olson's Pinkalicious bike, because I wasn't sure if Cooper would be interested in riding a bike. She LOVES it! Judson has learned to ride without training wheels, but apparently I only have videos of that. Sweetest, happiest guy I know. He puts up with A LOT.

Wednesday, January 29, 2014. Porter Michael Moody joined our family (EIGHT looooong days after his due date! On Thursday, January 23rd at 7:52 am. He weighed eight pounds even and was 21 inches long. It was Annie and Allison's first bike rides that far on their own and they both did great. Allison had a hard time on the first hill but made it to the top of the second.
