Thursday, July 9, 2015. Vernal Trip Part 2. Friday morning (June 19th) we headed out to the Dinosaur National Monument. We started out by heading to the visitor's center and catching a ride on the shuttle to the Dinosaur Quarry. We had fun looking at all the dinosaur bones there and learning about them. Wednesday, June 10, 2015. It is nice that the weather is good enough to hike now. We have already gone on a couple hikes in our area this spring. Our first was on Memorial Day with my brothers. We decided to try out the Wild Rose Loop. That afternoon, and while we were at it we did a section of the Chukkar Loop and went roughly half way along a trail that would have taken us to Ensign Peak. Judson's birthday was on a Friday this year, which meant he got to celebrate with his friends at school on the actual day. He got to bring treats. He chose ice cream sandwiches (and we brought popsicles, too), which made it VERY easy on me. We had a very full, fun day celebrating our big guy. He loved every minute of it!
