Monday, March 31, 2008. A few straggling parcels need to arrive, like my new glasses and our travel insurance papers (travel cuts gave us the best deal). We've decided to take the Greyhound to Vancouver (30$ if booked 2 weeks in advance) because we can't find anywhere to park our car for 3 months. So that'll be a long haul, leaving Vernon at 10 Am then going to the airport and arriving in London at 4:40 AM the next day (Vernon time), 1:40 PM London Time. Wednesday, March 26, 2008. As for the athletes we didn't experience that, but we did hear some great stories about some of them. In particular a ski jumper who's somewhat of a freakshow and a tabloid writer's dream. Wednesday, August 8, 2012. The "Enjoy It While It Fits" Bonnet. Were going to a wedding this weekend in Salmon Arm. Its supposed to be very hot and sunny, and apparently there will be little to no shade during the outdoor ceremony. So the Little Miss needed a fancy hat to wear! Monday, August 6, 2012. Together, we are lucky to have our beautiful 11-month-old daughter. She is healthy and happy (most days. she is. Friday, April 27, 2012. April Showers Bring May Flowers. I try to get out for a walk at least once a day. I find if I don't have fresh air I get headaches and don't sleep as well at night. Plus I think it's good for kids to be outdoors. Normally I walk along the creekside trail near our house but it was closed due to cougar activity in the area (! You know you're in Squamish when you carry bear spray or a hunting knife with you on a stroll around the neighbourhood! Giant monkey puzzle tree.

Like. a LOT. 160;I feel like there is a rainfall warning at least once a week. At least during the winter months anyway.
