Life, liberty and the pursuit of filling up another passport with stamps. It's 77F and the Britons are opening their windows and ripping off their clothes. No photos of such a demonstration here. The country is officially in a drought, but it's not stopping us from getting out and enjoying the sun. Here are some photos of our family enjoying life together. On a grassy bench in Camberly, UK. A friend from NZ game us this hat. He enjoys the piano. Pulling up and crawling are his two favourite things. It wa...

http://eurotodd.blogspot.com/2012/05/leipzig-2012.html
Life, liberty and the pursuit of filling up another passport with stamps. Since Rebecca and I have been married, we've talked of visiting the city together. She'd been to Germany plenty of times, but never to Leipzig. I had to show her Deutchland's Music City. What better time to show her the sights than when we have our seven month-old son to take with us. We realized that we should have done more traveling before we had children. Edison ordered some coffee at Europe's oldest coffee house. Just before w...

Life, liberty and the pursuit of filling up another passport with stamps. Royal Wedding (and Google). It was a grand day in London. The Royal couple were wed and the wedding bells rang. We watched comfortably from our sofa and stayed glued to the BBC from beginning to end. Rebecca wasn't keen on me singing "My Country 'Tis of Thee" when they played "God Save the Queen." How dare I mock the monarchy on such a special day! Is blooming now and makes the fronts of many homes very attractive. That's where I m...

http://eurotodd.blogspot.com/2012/02/not-so-ordinary-life.html
Life, liberty and the pursuit of filling up another passport with stamps. It's been a while since I've written anything here that could be considered a proper blog post. Once you have a child, everything is very different. We love Edison so much and we love having him in our lives.but it doesn't leave us time for much else! Our 'spare' time consists of washing bottles late in the evening. Below are some pictures of our everyday life here in jolly ol' England. What did you say? He loves this spinning toy.

Life, liberty and the pursuit of filling up another passport with stamps. This week I went to the library and found a book about rural life in Surrey. It is a fascinating book with photos from farmers and their homes in the mid- to late-19. Century. A couple of photos caught my attengint and I did s ome light investigating online about the area. Since I have the week off work, the day made for an ideal time to go on an outing to see some of the places live. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Follow me on Twitter.

Life, liberty and the pursuit of filling up another passport with stamps. Dorset and Devon / Summer Eleven (Day 3). Branscombe. Dubbed the 'longest village in England'. We didn't notice the length of it, but noticed the beautiful views towards the sea. Too tired to really get out of the car. Beer Interesting name for a seaside village. Nice pebble beach. I found some bright green seaweed which I was tempted to eat. View from atop the hillside. Note: hair flying around in the wind. Dartmoor National Park&...
