Friday, May 13, 2011. The good news is that numbers mean nothing when you have the Lord on your side! So we started the chemo last night. This chemo is bright blue, looks like blue powerade. And it makes him pee green! Well so you probably guessed it by now but Shawn will not be attending the benefit concert. Monday, June 20, 2011. So the transplant finally happened! So hopefully both Shawn and the donor will not take any jobs asking them to be a hitman:). I'll will do another update later, hopefully he will be starting to feel better by then. Thank you all for the continued prayers and support we really appreciate it. Wednesday, June 8, 2011. Here are some pics over the past few months. Shawn had some dark blue chemo, pretty crazy stuff. He started losing his hair again a few weeks later (the small amount that he had) poor fella slept through his haircut. Monday, August 01, 2011. This is my first mobile post! Sunday, July 24, 2011. We Love Our Friends. Our friends came out from New York to visit (in May. Only two months behind). It was awesome. So we ordered the good weather. One of the highlights of the trip was going out to a local farm to pick strawberries, snap peas, and other delicious and fresh fruits and veggies. Twas mahvelous. I think that's how we're feeling about being 23. It's way older than 22. Not way old. It just didn't feel like a little step. BUT is was FUN! Monday, December 10, 2012. Things have been slightly crazy lately. I haven't up-dated this ole' blog in far too long. So much has happened here at the Wright household! Brooklyn is doing well in school, and he is learning how to read, and LOVING it! He tries to spell and read every word he can. He is loving school, and he is finally getting used to the full-day kindergarten thing. It was rough there for a while, he was so exhausted after school, but he is doing better. I had such a great fall at school!
