Saturday, September 8, 2012. I have wanted to blog about everything that we did while we were there. But I haven't quite figured out where to start, it is a bit overwhelming. So today I was going through some of my videos and thought I would share those for now and then slowly catch up from there. These first two are of Ruby and some of her cousins doing a little 4th of July performance at the family party. And this is her amazing backstroke. I was totally impressed with how quickly she caught on.

Wednesday, February 29, 2012. Dr Seuss Bday Decorations. I have been busy making these cute Dr. Seuss decorations for my friends little boy who is turning 1. I'm glad she asked me to make them, otherwise I wouldn't have ever made anything like this. And I think they turned out so incredibly cute. Everything was made using a Cat in the Hat book and scrap booking paper. I hope Cacia likes them as much as I do. Posted by The Chamberlains. Links to this post. Thursday, April 4, 2013. I made this Strawberry Shortcake dessert just the other night. I was surprised at how easy and quickly it came together. My favorite part is the fresh berries.and the yummy Greek yogurt cream topping.oh, and the homemade shortcake biscuits! The recipe is of course from The Pioneer Woman. Here is the recipe as it appears on Pioneer Woman. 3/4 Cup) Cold Butter, Cut Into Pieces. Mixed Berries And/or Sliced Strawberries. Zest And Juice Of 1 Small Orange. 7 Ounces) Plain Greek Yogurt.

Thursday, February 14, 2013. We love Valentines day around our house. We feel so lucky to have people we love in our lives. And it is so fun to celebrate with those people and show them how much you really do care. Ruby has been counting down the days to Valentines since New Years. We have all of her Valentines for school ready and we decorated her Valentines basket. (Super easy). So she is set. The three of us will be celebrating together this year with a special dinner and exchanging cards.

Tuesday, March 13, 2012. Disney World Day 2. For our 2nd day at Disney World we went to Hollywood Studios. There were tons of fun shows and parades to watch so it was definitely a more chill day. And I was so happy that we made it onto Toy Story. The line is always forever long. Waiting for a parade to start. Pas decided to participate in the dancing. We got to see a ton of fun characters, and I'll tell ya what. It is crazy how realistic they all are. I just can't get over it. Posted by The Chamberlains.

I was actually super lucky that stores were starting to put out Christmas decorations, because that is pretty much how I was able to pull this costume off and put it together. The wings - 2 Branches for decorating Xmas trees that I just attached together. With wire and glue. The headband - One of my ribbon wrapped headbands that I just attached the snowflake. Tuesday, June 12, 2012. Clints deployment so far has been tougher than either of us thought. Originally we were just thinking ok a few short months and he will be back. He will get some great combat time and a ton of flight hours. But in the few short weeks that he has been there, his base has been attacked and he has lost a good friend. Thursday, November 17, 2011. Today for school Ruby got to dress up as either a Pilgrim or a Native American. We chose Native American since we already had the whole thing figured out. Thanks to this Family photo. However.we did add a little something to it for the occasion. The day before she had to wear it to school Clint suggested I make a little vest to go over her dress, that way she could help me decorate it the way she wanted. It was so easy. I used an old vest of Ruby's to figure out the my pattern.
