8 bit pixels: December 2007
http://8bitpixels.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 04, 2007. I saw the latest Coen brother's movie "No Country for Old Men" and was reminded how much I appreciate movies that allow for personal interpretation. They leave such a long lasting impact and spark inspired conversation between fellow viewers. Each of these games has been a unique experience I haven't had playing games and that inspires me. 8 bit pixels: The goggles do nothing!
http://8bitpixels.blogspot.com/2007/07/goggles-do-nothing.html
Sunday, July 22, 2007. The goggles do nothing! Sweet Now I have officially become a blogger. I don’t update my page often. I think I’m going to just start posting every Sunday evening, we’ll see how that goes. I’m now writing this blog from a new perspective, without contacts or glasses. I went through Lasik surgery Friday! I’m still amazed at how fast and easy the process has been, thought I'd share the process with you. He says, “Of course, we do that now.”. I'm broke, I'M BROKE! Monday, July 30, 2007. Inspiration Wanted (apply within). Inspiration comes from anywhere when you are developing games. Sometimes in the shower, a LOT of times from watching movies, and occasionally when you misunderstand what someone is saying and your imagination wanders. A short time ago I was inspired from an unusual place and it has stuck with me, probably because I have yet to act on that inspiration. The next game is Within a Deep Forest. Another small game that has inspired me is Everyday Shooter.

8 bit pixels: June 2008
http://8bitpixels.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 10, 2008. I just wanted to update real quick on my new appreciation for Goichi Suda. Or Suda 51. I played No More Heroes a couple months ago and loved how unique and unexpected the experience was. The game always kept me on my toes and wondering what will happen next. Really tough to find games like that these days, everyone seems to follow the same tried and true formula. I can only hope that another game like this will be created. I'm really looking forward to Flower, Sun, and Rain. I hav...

Part 1: The Rhythm Is Gonna Get You. Part 2: Establishing My Rhythm. Part 3: The Interface of GH2 and EBA. This is one of the biggest obstacles in designing a good rhythm game: how do you make sure your game is approachable? How are we doing there? In fact, I only had a tougher time passing 2 of the next 19 songs!

And so, after another year of Evo come and gone, I'd like to officially end the Evo Season on my blog with one final "State of the Games" post. I've had a good month to stew on Evo and read the general community reactions and let everything sink in. Thus, I would like to sum up my feelings in one last post. After this, I will. Dead or Alive 4. But it wasn't enough, it seems....

Meet jchensor Raise a glass and sit and stare, understand the man. Monday, November 20, 2006. All the Wiis are Gone. And the sky is grey. Man, it's tough to try to write about the Wii without making some lame pun-filled title. And once again, I performed my eBay check for the Wii this time, only just for curiosity. I swear it is. Like staring at a car wreck on the freeway, seeing just how far the re-selling madness has gone. At one point today, there were almost 30,000. Posted by jchensor at 12:35 AM.
