About Design Innovate Farm. Imagine if Steve Jobs had not made the leap from calligraphy to computer graphics. Imagine if Phil Knight had not thought of Nike as more than a running shoe company. Imagine if Washington state apple growers had thought of themselves only as Red Delicious apple growers. Imagine if New York apple growers decided to throw in the towel simply because Washington state growers could do it bigger and cheaper. Imagine if……. About Design Innovate Farm. The trip lasted about 3 hours, but after only about an hour we were already outside the city and into the most beautiful, rolling hills of farmland ever created. By the time we’d reached the Flint Hills, I knew we were only about an hour out….I was giddy and couldn’t wait. And then we were there. Even the memory tastes great. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. The Midland Agrarian: Sheep Feeder Project
http://midlandagrarian.blogspot.com/2009/01/sheep-feeder-project.html
A journal of Agrarian thought and life from Western Pennsylvania. Sunday, January 25, 2009. Anything worth doing is worth doing badly". We gave serious consideration to buying new metal bunk feeders. However, for our small flock this would have cost us about $900. The metal feeders are really nice, but just not economically feasible. An account of culinary adventures, vegetable gardening and healthy eating. Monday, March 11, 2013. I sprout 1 cup of french lentils about twice a week. This provides us with enough lentils to steam, saute, add to soups and salads everyday. We also make a Sprouted Lentil Kefir Sourdough with them as well, so, so delicious. Sprouted Lentils, the easiest thing to do EVER. 1 cup picked-though and rinsed Organic French, Brown or Beluga Lentils. 1 large jar (like a mason jar) with lid. View my complete profile.
