http://prairiesandbeyond.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 5, 2009. For Easter/Spring Break this year, the boys and I flew out to Victoria for two weeks. Miles was able to join us for the middle week. Being that I flew both ways on my own, I eventually lost count of how many people told me I was crazy or asked, "are they ALL yours? I was able to catch up with a couple friends and cousins for coffee, lunch, manicures or whatever worked! As always, there are always many more people you'd love to see but time just doesn't permit! Me and my boys :).

From the Prairies and Beyond!: August 2008
http://prairiesandbeyond.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 8, 2008. We stayed an extra night in Fairmont, so that we could go back to see Fort Steele the next day. We just missed the 2pm (hour long) show in the theatre by 10 minutes and they don't allow any entries once it's started! We wandered around for a bit and then sat and waited for the 2:40pm stagecoach ride/tour through town. After that, my family humored me and we got a family photo take - old style! Half of us on the train ride. On the train. looking back at Fort Steele. This is where w...

From the Prairies and Beyond!: April 2007
http://prairiesandbeyond.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 19, 2007. Well today we had a fun-filled, adventurous day! We met Auntie Marit mid-morning and headed to McDonald's for an early lunch. The boys played, until Uncle Glenn called, saying it was a good time to come to the firehall. After touring the firehall, we went to Beacon Hill Park, where we enjoyed the playground and then the petting farm. We then, of course, had to walk to the Beacon Drive-In for ice cream! Goats, goats and more goats. As Ethan said,. They were so cute! On Monday, we...

A Little House on the Prairie: May 2010
http://alittlehouseontheprairie.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
A Little House on the Prairie. Monday, May 31, 2010. I hung out in my craft room for a bit this morning, making a mess, while the boys played nearby in the playroom. Sympathy cards - Miles' cousin lost his son. Bridal shower - it was just going to be pretty basic but then some ink got smudged on the top corner and I had to take the card to a whole new level :) the saying,. There are no mistakes in stamping, only embellishment opportunities". Once again came to good use! Another twist on the teacher cards.

A Little House on the Prairie: November 2011
http://alittlehouseontheprairie.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
A Little House on the Prairie. Sunday, November 13, 2011. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow. Our first snowfall of the season was November 6th, one whole week ago now! The boys donned on the snow gear and out they went, until I had to call them in to leave for hockey! Today they are out building a snowman and I have just been summoned to get the camera and take a picture of their masterpiece! As for my good intentions of getting everything into the shed on time. The snow beat me! Demonstrator so ever...

A Little House on the Prairie. Saturday, April 17, 2010. It's a GORGEOUS sunny Saturday morning here! Hopefully we can get outside later on. Miles is at the office getting some new computers hooked up and I need to get some cleaning done (story of my life)! The next card is for a couple who hosted a BBQ last summer (in our area). They are friends of friends and we hadn't met them until showing up on their doorstep! Apparently it's an annual thing! Nintey years with a cherry on top'. While at their home, ...

A Little House on the Prairie: October 2009
http://alittlehouseontheprairie.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
A Little House on the Prairie. Thursday, October 29, 2009. Yesterday was Liam's Halloween party at playschool. He wore a costume that I got on sale at Children's Place - a little big but this way it can go over his snow pants if need be and all the kids can use it for dress-up! I was on treat duty, so made cupcakes - the fancy toothpick and wrapper combos sure make decorating easy! He had a ton of fun and was thrilled to get lots of treats from his friends! Tuesday, October 27, 2009. 1 cup brown sugar.
