From the Prairies and Beyond!: August 2008

http://www.prairiesandbeyond.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html

Friday, August 8, 2008. We stayed an extra night in Fairmont, so that we could go back to see Fort Steele the next day. We just missed the 2pm (hour long) show in the theatre by 10 minutes and they don't allow any entries once it's started! We wandered around for a bit and then sat and waited for the 2:40pm stagecoach ride/tour through town. After that, my family humored me and we got a family photo take - old style! Half of us on the train ride. On the train. looking back at Fort Steele. This is where w...

From the Prairies and Beyond!: Bits & Pieces... farewell Hawaii

http://www.prairiesandbeyond.blogspot.com/2010/01/bits-pieces-farewell-hawaii.html

Friday, January 29, 2010. Bits and Pieces. farewell Hawaii. Here are a few more odds and ends pictures from our trip and journey home. we left at 11:30pm from the Kahalui Airport in Maui (Dec 12) and flew through the night, getting into the Vancouver Airport around 7am. The rest of the day was spent in and out of airplanes and airports and we walked through the doors of our home at 4am, December 14th! Needless to say, the boys did not go to school that day! ALOHA - at the entrance of our resort. Cole all...

From the Prairies and Beyond!: January 2008

http://www.prairiesandbeyond.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html

Saturday, January 12, 2008. Our main reason for heading west on this trip was my cousin, Silja's wedding on November 10th! It was such an incredibly fun day and was great to sit at the cousin (& baby) table! We only took Cole with us to the wedding and it was quite a treat not to have to 'run' after the others! My cousins, Erin and Ashley babysat for us so that was a bonus! Silja in her beautiful hat! Maren 'quizzing' Silja about Aaron! Me and the beautiful bride. Bride and Groom - Disney style! Since I ...

A Little House on the Prairie: May 2010

http://alittlehouseontheprairie.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html

A Little House on the Prairie. Monday, May 31, 2010. I hung out in my craft room for a bit this morning, making a mess, while the boys played nearby in the playroom. Sympathy cards - Miles' cousin lost his son. Bridal shower - it was just going to be pretty basic but then some ink got smudged on the top corner and I had to take the card to a whole new level :) the saying,. There are no mistakes in stamping, only embellishment opportunities". Once again came to good use! Another twist on the teacher cards.

http://alittlehouseontheprairie.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html

A Little House on the Prairie. Sunday, November 13, 2011. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow. Our first snowfall of the season was November 6th, one whole week ago now! The boys donned on the snow gear and out they went, until I had to call them in to leave for hockey! Today they are out building a snowman and I have just been summoned to get the camera and take a picture of their masterpiece! As for my good intentions of getting everything into the shed on time. The snow beat me! Demonstrator so ever...
