Here be some of my animation work, most work was done for a purpose, most of which, i tend to forget. Monday, 6 August 2007. Linetest for our third year graduation film, Cyren. First linetest of the woman transforming into a monster. This was the initial motion that I built the mutation up upon. Collection of Artwork and Animation from Jamie Page of Studio Nibop. Sunday, 5 August 2007. I worked on Cyren as an Animator, doing Animation, Clean-up, Trace, Digital Colouring, Special Effects and Compositing. This was our Graduation film from the Arts Institue at Bournemouth, made in our last year at uni. The film started in October and we finished the last render around the beginning of June. We ran the time-management pretty tightly which meant we could finish virtually on-time.

A late smoke loop done in an afternoon as extra effects for the film Cyren. The shot can loop continuously. The animation was done straight off with charcoal, the idea was to create more of a tonal feel, but due to the need for accuracy this was slightly lost. On the main page,. Smoke test for the trail of dust that comes up after a guard slides into shot. I think it works ok, but a bit too hasty on turning the force of the slide into the slow dust cloud. Here be some of my animation work, most work was done for a purpose, most of which, i tend to forget. Monday, 6 August 2007. Woman transforming into monster stage 7. Woman transforming into monster stage 7. Linetest for our third year graduation film, Cyren. Final linetest of the woman of the film once she has left the painting and gets annoyed at the sight of the lower city dwellers seeing her; She transforms into a monster. The animation took quite a lot, lot longer than the hand emerging.
