Drawing from a theatrical background I create paintings that can be viewed as set-designs in an aggressive, spatial atmosphere. My current body of work is a result of both painting and fabric design. Using lace, cotton and other textiles as inspiration I create geometric shapes that explode into patterns. By interweaving these planes they then develop themselves into structural settings and architectural abstractions that the view can explore.
