When we are called to be different. June 12, 2011. Home – 6/12/11. Well we made it back safe and sound. But, I wish I could wake up tomorrow morning and walk the trash filled streets again. To see the faces of the homeowners and the children again. To talk with those amazing people from Potter’s House. To wake up surrounded by people wanting to make a difference, wanting to be God’s hands and feet. This was maybe the greatest experience of my life. One I will never. Antigua – 6/11/11. When we are called to be different. June 8, 2011. Day 3 – 6/8/11. 3 Poverty of Affection:. Lack of love, and inappropriate feelings. Selfishness vs. Love. 4 Poverty of the Will. Slavery vs. Freedom. 1 tender, passionate affection. 2 strong personal liking. 3 person toward whom love is felt. 4 to have love (for). Love is more than a feeling, it is an action. The word Love is overused, but also underused. Sometimes we use it so much it loses its meaning. Yet sometimes it is a foreign word to us.
