About Paradise Triathlon Training. Paradise Traithlon Training was founded by Simon Brierley, who has been competing in triathlons for 18 years. He has placed first for Juniors in the 1998 London Triathlon and was Malta International Triathlon Champion as well as GB Duathlon age group champion in 2000. Thursday, 30 December 2010. Africa Champs and Tour of Rwanda 2010. Have not entered for a few months now so thought I might just paste in some entries from my Facebook page to recap what has been going on . TTT today at Africa champs Rwanda, very disappointed with my effort I dropped of the back of the team, struggled with altitude 5000ft and heat 35c and the hills. Rwanda is known as country of a 1000 hills. Got rest day tomorrow training at 9 then TT on Friday 33 km very hilly.". Posted by Ironman Simon.

Monday, 6 June 2011. Norwich 50 and Rest Recovery. Name: Norwich 50mile Bike Ride. 5 Jun 2011 8:26 am. 02' 45" per mile. Really pleased with my ride this weekend gone, was able to get out on the TT bike and head down and do some good riding. Friday, 27 August 2010. Rest and Recovery complete. Well Ironman seems ages ago now, really 4 weeks ago. What have I been upto, now that I have decided to concentrate on Olympic distance I have been doing some speed work and trying to stay fit and well. I have 16 weeks till Africa Cup Triathlon in Mauritius 19th December. 15 August British National Tri Champs. 13th out of 67 (30-35 age group). Overall I was reasonably pleased with my efforts and saw where I need effort for change form endurance to speed.
