The Heaton Home: I don't really care what you "SAY".....
http://hheaton.blogspot.com/2014/05/i-dont-really-care-what-you-say.html
Life is short . Make some memories. Tuesday, May 20, 2014. I don't really care what you "SAY". It seems like the old adage " actions speak louder than words. Is ringing in my ears a lot these days. Funny thing . i was scrolling thru facebook this morning, and maybe it's ringing in some other ears as well. I don't know how my parents instilled that into my thinking growing up. i'd like to think it was because they modeled. Are just that . words. Combined together to form something we read and understand.

Thank God for Coffee & Preschool!: May 2011
http://cstargel.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 29, 2011. Where have we been? We endured the huge snow storm and were stuck for a week. The boys decided they wanted to share a room! So we moved them together and decorated their new room-. Streamlining the decor while keeping their personalities and styles separate. Little man was born on the 4th of July so I had already done his room in the stars. Since we already had that, it seemed the easiest route to go! I was so thrilled that they wanted to share a room. It's so fun to see how differe...

Happy New Year, and Happy New Shirts!: September 2009
http://themacdonaldhome.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Happy New Year, and Happy New Shirts! Tuesday, September 22, 2009. It's a short ride to crazy town. Both of my kids have had/still have the flu this week. Most likely the dreaded H1N1, which I have to say, isn't really so bad. In fact, if this is the flu we get this year, then I feel like we lucked out (as far as one can "luck out" with the flu! Do you know what always amazes me though? When my children are in the midst of feeling horrible, they are little lambs! Me- "Molly, do you want to take a bath?

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT: My Shabby Picnic Basket Planter!
http://confessionsofaplateaddict.blogspot.com/2010/06/my-shabby-picnic-basket-planter.html
Catch Up On Popular Posts. 13 June, 2010. My Shabby Picnic Basket Planter! I am excited about my latest project…a planter made from an old picnic basket that has been “antiqued.”. It was fun and so easy! I think this may just be my favorite project ever! But if you know me, you know I’m a copy cat. 8230;and this time is no exception. And here is my inspiration! It is a ceramic planter from FCLstyle. 8230;a sister company to Pierre Deux. First…of course…start with a wicker picnic basket! It by brushing on...

Put Me In The Zoo!: October 2011
http://surviving4.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 27, 2011. I have a terrible case of stage fright that may require therapy. Have a problem being in front of people. Put me on a stage? You'll need one of those Bugs Bunny hooks to drag me off. Hand me a microphone? You're going to need to put some serious Ultimate Fighter moves on me if you plan to shut me up. Clearly, I'm not afraid of actually being. It's my son who has me breaking into a cold sweat and popping the Pepto pills. I was half right. For an entire Christmas break. Sitting ...

Put Me In The Zoo!: April 2012
http://surviving4.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 6, 2012. Grieving Good Friday's Child. Then in February of 2003, I had a glimmer of hope - a brief, positive pregnancy that ended on the day I discovered it. Valentine's Day. Tyler and I were out of town with friends, and trying to keep our baby-making ordeal under wraps. I swallowed a handful of Motrin and grieved quietly in the condo bathroom. Um, I don't know! What do you mean you don't know! What do you think this means? I asked the pharmacist. I bought a handful of pregnancy tests, all...

Put Me In The Zoo!: March 2011
http://surviving4.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 19, 2011. Can I make a confession? If you've been a parent for more than 45 minutes, you know that this is a bad, BAD parenting technique. Allow me to share with you a bit yesterday's conversation with Ella and Evie:. Where do babies come from? Don't hit the brakes.). Um, what did you ask, Ella? Where Do. Babies. Come. From? Oh Well, you know the answer to that, right? When a mommy and a daddy love each other very much, and God decides they are ready, He puts a baby in the mommy's tummy.

Put Me In The Zoo!: Good Intentions Won't Pay the (Therapy) Bills
http://surviving4.blogspot.com/2012/05/good-intentions-wont-pay-therapy-bills.html
Monday, May 7, 2012. Good Intentions Won't Pay the (Therapy) Bills. My sister (the brilliant photographer I feature on this blog and the only person on earth who can capture a decent shot of my obnoxious children). Is pregnant with her first child. So far, she hasn't come seeking any motherly advice from her big sister, probably because she doesn't want to hear what I have to say:. You can't screw your kid up if she's in utero for the next 18 years. Which she hasn't taken off since. I got pretty relaxed ...

Thank God for Coffee & Preschool!: January 2011
http://cstargel.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 3, 2011. I'm not a huge New Years Eve person. I don't care to get dressed up and. I really don't care to be out on the roads. I'm good at home under covers ringing it in with Dick Clark.(or Ryan). But I do always feel a sense to re-evaluate. Not so much make new resolutions. But just re-evaluate where I'm at in life. Am I doing what I need to be doing? This year brings with it a new endeavor. That I would love to share with you -. Some of you have seen my personalized buckets. How many pe...

Put Me In The Zoo!: Worry, Thy Name is Woman
http://surviving4.blogspot.com/2012/01/worry-thy-name-is-woman.html
Tuesday, January 31, 2012. Worry, Thy Name is Woman. My apologies to the Bard for a clumsy attempt at wit, but don't you feel like it's true? I know men worry, but it seems they do it on a more broad spectrum scale: job, money, who will win the Super Bowl this Sunday. But women - and it seems especially mommies - have the capacity to worry about everything. In infinite detail. Given 10 seconds alone to think, the worry center of a woman's brain kicks into high gear. Did I lay the baby on her back? And th...
