Last March, we celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary at home with some friends. The choice of flower was pale lilac orchids sourced from a farm in Rawang over white table linen. Reminiscences and logs of daily adventures. Sunday, 22 March 2015. Our 13th anniversary do. Last Saturday, we celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary at home with some friends. The pale lilac coloured orchids were specially sourced for the occasion from an orchid farm. While waiting, guests nibbled on fresh cauliflower and aïoli spiced with piment d'Espelette. First course was an easy choice - foie gras with some apple confit and a slice of kundang, a local fruit that has a rather tangy mango flavour.

As I was relaxing by a boulder on the edge of a jungle stream on a hot day, I saw something tiny moving: a tiny toad the size of a 5 cent coin! On the eve of Hari Raya, I figured it would be quiet to be at the hills with everyone busy at home or stuck in traffic jams - my hunch was right (till Habu only I imagine) and we had a pleasant and quiet mid morning till noon at Habu (later it got noisier).priceless.
