RBSC / NOCSP - Qingdao. Saturday, August 11, 2007. Qingdao: So much to explore. Dear Friends, Family and Fans,. For example today we couldn’t sail due to the weather conditions again and most of all the state the beach and the boats were left in after last night’s storm. (check the pictures) All morning we helped tidying up the beach and the boats (dirty and tiring work) and the kids learned from our weather talk and decided for themselves to stay home/at school. After the meeting and the opening already a lot of things have changed. we were told last sunday we would get 158 kids, at number one beach. 550 kids would sail in the marina and 250 kids at some other beach. other than that we didn´t hear anything new at all at the meeting, except for a lot of Chinese words. RBSC / NOCSP - Weihai. Tuesday, August 14, 2007. As you can see on the picture below, we had some waves of around 4 meters, and this on a Sunday, a free day. So Shark took us to the city and drove around with us with the taxi which is extremely cheap(1 yuan per kilometer). He brought us to a computer hall where he wanted to show us his CS skills (shooter game) which was also extremely cheap (2yuan per hour). With the afternoon group we held a regatta with two legs and one final leg. RBSC / NOCSP - Weihai.

RBSC / NOCSP - Rizhao. Tuesday, July 24, 2007. Just another day in China. Dear friends and family,. Today our weather here was "susu" (chinese for not good, not bad). In the morning there was a lack of wind. We revised the sailing directions, the knots and the priority rules. If tomorrow is again a bad day we have no more inspiration what we could do with our kids. So if anyone has some fun ideas to keep the kids busy during the bad weather, don't hesitate to mail us! RBSC / NOCSP - Weihai. Friday, August 17, 2007. The new group is really doing well. The first day we thought them the parts of the boat and the knots and they performed pretty well. The second day we showed them how to tack and Celeb did a really good job showing the moves. This day we also had a swimming contest and a game of football till the moment that I(Philippe) got some sand in my eyes. From this day on we also have a new translator. We even had one girl who just ran of and we had to search for her.
