RBSC / NOCSP - Shanghai. Nicolas, Niels and Pieter. Wednesday, August 22, 2007. All hell broke loose. Today, we could finally sail with the kids in normal conditions. First we gave some theoretical lessons and than we could start the practical part. This afternoon was probably the hottest moment we had during our stay in China. It was about 38°C and on top of that there was almost no wind. So we held again a little water fight to get some refreshment. The Flying Shanghai Team. RBSC / NOCSP - Shanghai.

RBSC / NOCSP - Shanghai. Nicolas, Niels and Pieter. Saturday, August 11, 2007. Because it was our last training day of the week we wanted to evaluate the improvement of the kids on the basis of a race. In spite of the fact that there was throughout the week a fierce wind forcing us to go on the inside lake, we could take the best sailors with us on the big lake, were they learned a lot. After cleaning up the sailing area we are now free for the rest of the weekend. Downtown Shanghai here we come!

RBSC / NOCSP - Shanghai. Nicolas, Niels and Pieter. Friday, August 17, 2007. 24 sailors were born this week! The last 2 days the kids were bothered by a strong and gusty wind but we enjoyed it a lot, when we went sailing on the Tirion yacht after the training! Tonight we take the plane to Qindao where we will spend the weekend with other trainers from Belgium and the Netherlands. One of the plans is that we follow the sailing regatta that is part of the pre-Olympics, taking place in Qindao. After the rai...

RBSC / NOCSP - Shanghai. Nicolas, Niels and Pieter. Saturday, July 21, 2007. Wij houden van LBSC! Thursday, we had very nice wind conditions and the kids sailed very well. We were glad about the progress of the kids, we noticed that their sailing skills have increased a lot. We took a lot of pictures, here are some of them. Afterwards they taught us the sentence in Chinese: Wo ai fen tshuan ("ik hou van zeilen"). The intonation was very difficult. See you in a while. RBSC / NOCSP - Shanghai. The weather ...

RBSC / NOCSP - Weihai: Big storm #2

http://nocsp-weihai.blogspot.com/2007/08/as-you-can-see-on-picture-below-we-had.html

RBSC / NOCSP - Weihai. Tuesday, August 14, 2007. As you can see on the picture below, we had some waves of around 4 meters, and this on a Sunday, a free day. So Shark took us to the city and drove around with us with the taxi which is extremely cheap(1 yuan per kilometer). He brought us to a computer hall where he wanted to show us his CS skills (shooter game) which was also extremely cheap (2yuan per hour). With the afternoon group we held a regatta with two legs and one final leg. RBSC / NOCSP - Weihai.

RBSC / NOCSP - Rizhao: Just another day in China

http://nocsp-rizhao.blogspot.com/2007/07/just-another-day-in-china.html

RBSC / NOCSP - Rizhao. Tuesday, July 24, 2007. Just another day in China. Dear friends and family,. Today our weather here was "susu" (chinese for not good, not bad). In the morning there was a lack of wind. We revised the sailing directions, the knots and the priority rules. If tomorrow is again a bad day we have no more inspiration what we could do with our kids. So if anyone has some fun ideas to keep the kids busy during the bad weather, don't hesitate to mail us! Anyway we shall see.

RBSC / NOCSP - Weihai. Friday, July 27, 2007. Jan and Barbara are working in Weihai now for some days. We took over the kids of Sebastiaan and Martijn, 8 kids in the morning and 8 in the afternoon. For the moment we have had no wind in the morning and a good breeze in the afternoon for the last 3 days. We see a big difference between the morning and afternoon kids. Sadly enough we can not change this. We LOVE China.). Also a detailled plan for next weeks will be made tomorrow, so that monday we can have ...

RBSC / NOCSP - Weihai. Friday, August 17, 2007. The new group is really doing well. The first day we thought them the parts of the boat and the knots and they performed pretty well. The second day we showed them how to tack and Celeb did a really good job showing the moves. This day we also had a swimming contest and a game of football till the moment that I(Philippe) got some sand in my eyes. From this day on we also have a new translator. We even had one girl who just ran of and we had to search for her.

RBSC / NOCSP - Weihai. Friday, August 24, 2007. Thursday 23rd of August. The afternoon group tough is another story…. First of all half of the students were too late. But at least 7 of the 8 were there by the time we got on the water. We started with the same briefing, the same race, we were doing the same as the morning group since we stated with this group, so you would think that they would perform the same. Friday 24th of August. As known they performed pretty well. We ended the day with some wakeboa...

Today the optimists arrived, and we made them ready to sail in the heat of the day. Evelien is like a lobster and I'm becoming Nutella! NOC Sports

Publicado por NOC Sports. Wednesday 9 September 2009,. England will enter their match with Croatia on Wednesday knowing that a win will send them on their way to the 2010 World Cup finals in South Africa. The situation, however, is one rather familiar to a majority of players in Fabio Capello’s squad. Jermain Defoe continues to find his way onto the scoresheet for club and country. He has netted in three straight matches for England as a substitute and will certainly be hoping for a chance to start.
