Tuesday, November 11, 2008. Before the move I've got a few things that I'm trying to get done. 1 upgrade my SAN. 2 move 5TB of data to the new DAE. 3 consolidate as many servers as I can with VMware. I should be able to shave off 14 physical servers and make them VM's. 4 install new PRI lines for our VoIP system (ordered). 5 install 10mb to the internet (ordered). 6 get with our data integrators and be the quarterback. Wednesday, January 02, 2008. So I've moved forward with VMware. Full swing. We purchased a new server for our production VM environment. The server specs are as follow;. 4 Quad core 3GHz Xeon cpus'. 2 72BG 10K rpm HD. Connected to our emc SAN. This server is a beast. If you didn't realize that is 16 cores in this one. Wednesday, February 04, 2009. My first day back from vaction and problems. After my vaction was over I was well rested and stress free. I get to work Monday morning Jan 5th and that's when it starts. My exchange cluster starts to freak out for a bit. I investigate what going on and powerpath is telling that a connection to the SAn is lost. WTF! Now I frantic b/c I just got back and I'm grilling everyone to see if anything went on while I was away (I stayed here BTW www.rayonhotels.com. WTF is going on?

Monday, June 21, 2010. I switched my main web server. My beloved RaQ 4i. Had been working for the last three years 24/7. Being a second hand server with an old hard disk I feel a little bad and some time ago I decided to exchange for anther RaQ 4i I had as spare. I restored all the files of the old server (the /downloads/. Folder) and it was 14 GB's! Torrentflux isn't installed as I don't use it since a lot of time ago. Well I think I have server for a lot of time but I want to switch to one of my RaQ 550.

Monday, November 20, 2006. PSP 300 update is here. The 300 update finally arrived. You can control the PS3 with this update. Here are a few blurry pics I took right after updating. What I did notice though is that all connection to my wireless AP to the internet is gone when the PSP to PS3 remote play is active. Not sure what the deal is there but this is what just happened. Thursday, November 16, 2006. Some work to do. DIY mounting an LCD. So the very next weekend after getting the Sony I tore up the walls in the house. Litterally. Why? To hang the set on the wall :) I went to best buy and got the Sanus VisionMount Wall Mount for Most 30-50" Flat-Panel TVs - Black. The plan was to hide all the wires. Sounds easy huh! This week arrived my latest toy, a Sun Blade 1500 Sparc workstation, but when I went to install Solaris on it (came with Debian Sparc linux) I wasn't able to find th DVD. More contents and the grammar points are introduced first! I also like the passages especially the 발해 봅시다 part where they give you examples on how to express yourself by using different kinds of sentence patterns. I just love it!
