the little things mean everything: My, haven't you grown
http://sarahkidd.blogspot.com/2009/03/my-how-youve-grown.html
The little things mean everything. Friday, March 20, 2009. My, haven't you grown. Its been more than 8 weeks since I last posted. Work has been crazy, and I have submitted two research grants. But things are a bit more relaxed now. You just wouldn't believe how much my belly has grown since I last posted. From this:. We had our 20 week scan a couple of days ago, which was quite exciting. And I couldn't help but exclaim (in the manner of a someone's Aunt) "My, haven't you grown! Posted by Sarah @ 11:02 am.
the little things mean everything: Welcome baby Liam
http://sarahkidd.blogspot.com/2009/08/welcome-baby-liam.html
The little things mean everything. Sunday, August 23, 2009. Better late than never. Bryan and I welcomed Liam Robert Coad into the world at 6.02 am on Tuesday August 18th 2009. The labour had to be induced since he was 13 days late, showing no signs of wanting to leave my comfy womb. Other than that though, the whole birth process went well (as well as you can expect with all that pain and stuff) with no complications. Posted by Sarah @ 2:41 pm. Links to this post. the little things mean everything: The President we just didn't have to have
http://sarahkidd.blogspot.com/2009/01/president-we-just-didnt-have-to-have.html
The little things mean everything. Tuesday, January 06, 2009. The President we just didn't have to have. January 6, 2009. How could someone so slight inflict so much damage? The discrepancy between the grandeur of the failure and the stature of the man is a puzzlement. Five years later, in what was intended as a farewell victory lap to show off Iraq's improved post-surge security, Bush was reduced to ducking shoes. He tried to spin the ruckus as another victory for his Administration's program of dem...
the little things mean everything: A change of pace
http://sarahkidd.blogspot.com/2009/07/change-of-pace.html
The little things mean everything. Tuesday, July 07, 2009. A change of pace. I started my maternity leave yesterday, four weeks before the Coadlet is expected to arrive. That means 4 weeks (hopefully) of doing nothing. I feel a bit guilty, but people keep telling m to make the most of it, and to get as much sleep as possible. Today has been a bit more leisurely. A Preggi Bellies. Posted by Sarah @ 12:44 pm. Links to this post. At 2:58 pm, July 07, 2009. At 6:49 am, July 27, 2009. Wow, coming soon.
the little things mean everything: We're expecting!
http://sarahkidd.blogspot.com/2009/01/were-expecting.html
The little things mean everything. Tuesday, January 27, 2009. Goodness me, I can hardly believe it. There's a Coadlet on its way, due to arrive by Express Stork Delivery in early August. Do you think it looks like me? Posted by Sarah @ 3:26 pm. Links to this post. At 11:20 am, January 28, 2009. Now I look at it again, its nose does appear disproportionately large.but then you could crack nuts on that forehead.am pretty sure it will right its self before showtime. At 11:29 am, January 28, 2009. An assortm...

the little things mean everything: Preparations
http://sarahkidd.blogspot.com/2009/06/preparations.html
The little things mean everything. Tuesday, June 23, 2009. We have 6 weeks to go until the baby arrives. Yikes! Here's a photo of me taken this morning. But we are surprisingly prepared. Prepared in the sense that the nursery is ready and the 'go-bag' is packed. Unprepared in the sense that this is going to hurt more than ripping off a band-aid! The cot was given to us by my boss, who's 3 children are all grown up now. I painted it white, to make it look as good as new. The sheets have a Noah's A...Appar...
the little things mean everything: Overdue
http://sarahkidd.blogspot.com/2009/08/overdue.html
The little things mean everything. Tuesday, August 11, 2009. I did manage to get out of the house today to waddle around Toys R Us for a bit (note that I said this was Toys R Us, purveyor of quality products for kids and babies - not some cheapo dollar store full of crap made in Taiwan). And I saw this:. Surely they are implying that any "little angle" that wears these booties is acute. Sorry The 41 week old bump where my flat stomach used to be has done strange things to my sense of humour.
the little things mean everything: 2009: the big year that brought us a big baby
http://sarahkidd.blogspot.com/2009/12/2009-big-year-that-brought-us-big-baby.html
The little things mean everything. Wednesday, December 30, 2009. 2009: the big year that brought us a big baby. 2009 has been a big year for Bryan and I, most obviously with the arrival of Liam. For Christmas and New Year this year we came to my parent's house on the south coast of NSW. A very relaxing place to be, which is just what we need. Not much to do other than read books on the balcony and walk on the beach. Here's a photo of Liam in his beach gear. Posted by Sarah @ 5:03 pm. Links to this post.

nomadic becs | adventures beyond the everyday
Adventures beyond the everyday. Coming home: overwhelmed by consumerism. February 23, 2017. February 25, 2017. Before departing for a year and a half on the road, I’d gone through my closet to eliminate all the clothes I didn’t wear and packed what remained up in large suitcases stored at my parents house. It had felt good to cut down on the amount of stuff I was storing – why keep things I wouldn’t want on my return? And is this carry-on sized bag full of only socks, tights and layering tanks? Since my ...
