As you may have realised we are not your conventional gym, as such when we are at the gym we are generally working (or working out). As such we're not equipped for drop-ins or grand tours. Friday, 12 August 2011. What’s your nemesis? Just over two years ago I began training. A new client. We were perhaps 5 or 6 sessions into training. I had proposed box jumps (on the 10 inch box) as one of the movements for our conditioning. One day–and my client looked at me–then looked at the box, and said “No Way! 8221; She couldn’t even contemplate getting her body off of the ground, much less jumping 10 inches high and landing on a box! 8220;I’ll never get up on that thing! 8221; she says.

If not now, we have all at some point been in graduate school with endless amounts of projects, papers, assignments, SOAP notes and lesson plans on our agenda. Now that I have graduated, I am just getting used to this reality of “spare time.” I finally get to enjoy this spare time and not dedicate it all to the books! My main goal was to get back to the gym! I used to be an athlete and work out a lot! I LOVE it now!
