Wednesday, March 23, 2005. 1 Cup Cracked Wheat (Bulgar) soaked in boiled water for 20 mins then drained. 2 Cups Very finely chopped salad materials - spring onions, celery, tomatoes, sweet green pepper, carrots, and anything else you like (Not Lettuce, though). 2 Cloves Garlic - finely chopped. Black Pepper to taste. Mix the above after the Bulgar has cooled. Add 5 tbls. extra virgin olive oil and the juice of one lime. You can add a bit of lemon, too. DON'T use zest (peel).
