I follow a bunch of different pizza sites (apparently I have obsessive compulsive pizza disorder) and this was in the pizza news today. Westport Car Dealership Messes With Pizza Delivery Guy, Feels Internet’s Wrath. I actually have some personal experience with a guy like that. It was back in my construction inspection days in the late 90s. A bunch of fill...I'm g...

I have no idea what I'm doing. Give me some time to figure it out. Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Some thoughts on The Valley Cats at the Joe. I've been to 2 Valley Cats games so far this summer. The first was with the elementary school on opening day. The second was tonight with a group from work. So in no particular order, here are some thoughts:. During a break in the game tonight, there was a condiment race between Ketchup, Mustard and Relish. On their way off the field, Relish wiped out on his bike....

Jon In Albany: March 2015
http://joninalbanyblog.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
I have no idea what I'm doing. Give me some time to figure it out. Sunday, March 22, 2015. 1 Thin Mints - 31 cases. The Thin Mints reign supreme again this year. People love these cookies. I've always been so-so on them. But in moving 31 cases of them, I think Thin Mints may deliver the most bang for your buck. All the cases have 12 boxes of cookies in them, and the Thin Mints felt the heaviest. 2 Samoas - 26 cases. 3 Tagalongs - 16 cases. 4 Trefoils - 10 cases. 5 Do-si-dos - 9 cases. I don't get these&#...

http://joninalbanyblog.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
I have no idea what I'm doing. Give me some time to figure it out. Tuesday, June 9, 2015. On a work trip at the end of May, I pulled over and took a picture of this barn. It's on Telephone Road (Rt 20) in Caledonia, NY. I'd driven past it a few times before and I'm glad I stopped because I don't think I'll be heading out that way again. Anyhow, the barn door always made me smile. If you're not familiar with the bit, I found it on YouTube. Everything is on YouTube. Monday, June 8, 2015. Chefsday The daily...

Jon In Albany: April 2015
http://joninalbanyblog.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
I have no idea what I'm doing. Give me some time to figure it out. Tuesday, April 28, 2015. Pizza from 9 MIles East Farm. I've been really picking up my own pizza making this year. In an attempt to not get larger, I'm trying to minimize the amount of pizza I eat that is made by other people. Before this Saturday, the only pizza I have had in 2015 that wasn't my own was from DeFazio's. An out of town friend wanted to go. How could I say no? The Farmhouse (cheese pizza). The visit to 9 Miles East was a rea...

The Fat that Dare Not Speak its Name | Kemach Torah
https://kemachtorah.wordpress.com/2011/04/12/the-fat-that-dare-not-speak-its-name
What manner of blog is this? A glossary of confusing Jewspeak. The Fat that Dare Not Speak its Name. In Ashkenazi soul food. On 12 April 2011. I wrote this a few months ago for The Jew and the Carrot. Though editorial dialectic eventually produced a rather different essay. I still enjoy the original and thought I’d share it. Thanks go out to my friend Andrea for proofreading and suggesting a few tweaks that really improved the article. What, you’re just going to throw that away? What will my wife think?
