Fish die off - Judy Anderson (yduJ). Judy Anderson yclept yduJ. Jul 31st, 2015 01:50 pm. I have some water test strips, given us by a friend of Jocelyn's, and I could test my own water. It's fine. Even better than at Petco cuz I had used the treatment stuff and it had softened up the water. 15 years is too old? Of course, I won't really know if this works, because the remaining fish are different species than the deaders, so even if they live, they might have lived anyway. Bah. Life forms.

Biked monday - Judy Anderson (yduJ). Judy Anderson yclept yduJ. Aug 7th, 2015 10:30 am. 2334 to Waltham in 2:05:45 for an average of 11.1. Thursday Ken had a doctor's appointment in Dedham, and didn't really want to end up with a car at work, so I biked to the doctor's (16 miles) and took him to a convenient train and drove the rest of the way to work. But, no other long bike rides in my recent past or expected future, so we won't be having any 100 mile weeks for a bit, I think.

I might have to live vicariously through Max, as the junior category is far easier. I never knew there was a Pinewood Derby car contest! He could have entered 3 times already. Rats! I remember seeing collections as an entry at the LA County fair but maybe that was just juniors? I was going to enter my smushed penny collection. Now I might have to think of some kind of talent.
