8230;but does anyone listen? Monthly Archives: February 2011. February 18, 2011. For the record, we have not decided whether or not we want more children. There were enough times in the first year that I wasn’t sure I wanted my ONE child that made Mike and I agree that we wanted to proceed with caution. Pregnancy does not flatter me, and I did not enjoy myself all that much. I am really out of the blogging habit lately, but the Madhouse just keeps on rolling along. I hope you’re reading these o...JMLC Da...

8230;but does anyone listen? Monthly Archives: March 2011. March 9, 2011. 8220;There’s a voice in my head that tells me what those little things mean,” I told my mother. I was stretched out on the living room floor, with the front page of. The Dallas Morning News. Spread out in front of me. I had just read the headline and a couple paragraphs out loud, much to Mom’s amazement. I was three years old. To this day I can remember most of the words, and I sing it to Jade sometimes, too. Check everyone else out.

8230;but does anyone listen? November 3, 2011. I’m in a bit of a snit tonight. I’ve been thinking about the wonder that is the internet. It’s absolutely incredible that we have such a tool for sharing information and viewpoints. And completely unsurprising and pathetic that we choose to use it primarily for watching videos of cats and telling one another how stupid we are for our opinions. There’s a lot going on in the world right now, and I have some definite opinions on the whole shebang. But...Clearly...

Wednesday, March 30, 2011. Sitting with the picture of my future son and the picture of the loved one we have just lost, I know this to be true:. Raising a Special Needs Child. This is Derek & Monet. The Fabulous Life of Derek and Monet. August 26, 2009 · Filed under Uncategorized. So I haven’t joined in the Madhouse in a long while…life happens. Today’s topic was on High School Rank’s and such but I figured I am pretty steamed and even disillusioned by the public school system when it comes to Derek and it really did fit. How wrong I was! I asked repeatedly for an FM system and let myself be talked out of it, then I heard what an FM system can do...

Tuesday, April 19, 2011. We could sit inside during this cold wet spring break. I could alternate tea and coffee, constantly sitting with a steaming cup between my paws for warmth, and read book after book beneath an afghan wide enough for three. We could watch movies and have popcorn for lunch and it would be fine, perhaps even lovely. Guess which we chose this chilly morning? We got chased by a pair of nesting Canadian Geese, got rained on just a little, and found a random teapot in the woods. And so I...
