I am not a dead man. February 13, 2014. I am not a dead Man. I’ve been wandering. I’ve been changing. We live in a world of change. I forget that sometimes. I have forgotten that until now. Night becomes day. Day becomes night. Winter becomes Spring. Spring becomes summer, and so on. But living our lives, day to day, makes it hard to see these changes are taking place. Living in the moment lessens our perception of it. But when we look back our change is noticeable. It is apparent. I will come out it.

I am not a dead man. December 13, 2014. December 13, 2014. I am the grain of sand, infinite. As days go by, I find I have slid back in to my own comfortableness. Where I have once stepped out of my shell, finding refining friction that comes from change, I now find myself comfortable. Not the comfortable that comes from adjusting to new circumstances, but the hollow of reverting. The hollow of having made two steps forward, but then shuffling one back. It’s not all just about me anymore.

I am not a dead man. I use the term perspective a lot, though maybe that’s not the right term to use for what I mean. My perspective is my perspective, and will always be my perspective. It will never change. How I actually see and hear things will never change. I’m talking literally how I see and how I hear. That perspective. The way my eyes see light, the way my ears hear sound. Those things will never change. How things are delivered unto me will never change. Sometimes that filter needs to be cleaned.
