Crafting Wearable Tech: A study on placing sensors on clothing and different textiles. The wearable tech shirt was constructed with fabrics such as, neoprene and chiffon. The silk screened circuit was designed in consideration of placing LEDs with conductive thread. The thread was integrated into the garment hem (bottom rim of shirt). Several prototypes of LEDs with conductive thread were made on various fabrics such as, wool, cotton, polyester blend, and muslin. Circuit material provided by: AgIC.
