Notes from [a] serenade. Monday, December 21, 2009. The season is upon us. Another Christmas is here too quickly. I'm unprepared, at least I've purchased all my gifts, but forget the wrapping. It's cozy, though, here. It's lovely to spend this time in relative solitude together. We miss home over the season of course, but we've felt the love from afar and are grateful for that. We're happy to be here and happy to be together this Christmas, even though it isn't in North America. My Own Personal Sandlot.
