We also had our first outing on the island on Sunday (so good having our new car). We went to "l a fête de la ville" in the town of. This was the pan they cooked it in. It was so big they needed a crane to lift it over the fire. They whisked the eggs with giant whisks attached to power tools. We stayed for our first sunset and even shared a serve of fish and chips on the beach.

Monday, July 23, 2012. The Eurostar made travelling very easy. Our apartment was a 5 minute walk from the Sacre Coeur and from behind it so it was a lovely peaceful walk. Janet's games are still travelling the world with us and keeping us entertained! We saw everything whilst we were there. The Louvre. We did manage to get up close to the Mona Lisa.
