Notes from Stillsong Hermitage
Notes from Stillsong Hermitage. Second Sunday of Easter: What's Thomas' Doubt All About? We should not trivialize Thomas' witness by transforming him into a run of the mill empiricist and doubter (though doubting is an important piece of growth in faith)! Posted by Sr. Laurel M. ONeal, Er. Dio. Labels: Apostle Thomas and Doubt. Life is Victorious Over Death. Posted by Sr. Laurel M. ONeal, Er. Dio. In the Darkness We Wait in Hope (Reprise). We often hear him say. "Tell no one about this! He instructs in t...

I rarely have to go to meetings and I've had three this week, that's my excuse for not getting a lot done and I'm sticking with it. I did finish the two donation quilts and they are tucked away until I need them. The Weekly Leaf #14. Here are all 14 of them, each one will be mounted on mat board and ready to frame. My Diary from the Trenches. I’ve taken a break for a couple of months and I just wanted to jump on to note a few things. I am now 1 year and 2 months post-transplant. As some of you heard (rather quickly from Facebook! Am I trying to accomplish something for the sake of accomplishment or does it really mean something to me or someone I care about?

From meatballs to Ikea, from snow to saunas. Wednesday, February 14, 2007. We've just got back from a fantastic week snowboarding with our English friends Carrie and Simon and Swedes Andreas and David. We hired a little log cabin and have had an action packed week of snowboarding, sledging, 'sauna-challenges' (ruuning outside in the snow after a sauna! And an eventful ski scooter ride where Daniel crashed and nearly broke my hip! Snowboarding seemed a lot easier than last year. Just admiring the view!

Notes From The 25th Parallel
Notes From The 25th Parallel. Thursday, April 2, 2009. Five weeks since my return, and I'm still adjusting. In its retelling, I've noticed how the experience has translated into something quantifiable, into a six month period equal to one winter, one semester, one short p. Although I'm a little bit restless and disoriented these days, I'm as curious and as present as ever. The honest truth is that I'm happy. I know this for sure. I'm invisible. I blend in. I like blending in. It's nice. Canada has so muc...
