notes from the ruff house

Notes from the ruff house. Ramblings (occasionally censored) about life as a mom, daughter, coworker, friend and an iced tea addict. Consider yourself warned. Wednesday, February 16, 2011. One of these things is not like the other. Scantily clad skinny women lapping up the summer sun and waves are now dumpster diving in my driveway. And tonight we're having dessert. Posted by the ruffhouse. Wednesday, February 16, 2011. Tuesday, February 15, 2011. Where do I begin? It's been SIXTEEN months since my last ...

For two years. The finality of such a goodbye belied the fact that there is no word in the English language to accurately describe what their unswerving hospitality, generosity, and trust meant to me. And there is no word to describe what these people will continue to mean to me for the rest of my life. Enter your e...

Notes From The Sally. I have a passion for scouting and between Asheville, Greenville and Hickory I get to a lot of Sally games. All of the scouting reports on this site are my in person scouting reports. If you have questions/comments/suggestions or if you want to see a particular player covered look for me on Twitter @AshevilleSoxFan thanks. Previously I covered the Sally for minor league ball and wrote about prospects at legends on deck. Also a big music, tech and coffee geek. Columbia Fire Flies (21).

Notes from the Scenic Route

Notes from the Scenic Route. August 10, 2015. Badlands and Bison: Theodore Roosevelt National Park, N.D. From New Mexico’s high desert to North Dakota’s western badlands and then Alaska’s picture-perfect mountains, it’s been an exhausting and beautiful summer of work-related travel. Notes from the Sea – Just Keep Swimming

They’re probably not the elements YOU are thinking of if you’re a “red-blooded male”, but that’s what I’m here for. To shatter illusions and make fantasies less fun. Yay women. Girls don’t pillow fight in their underwear. Feathers don’t fly in a pillow fight. Your knuckles wrapped tightly around the edge of ...

Notes From the Second Half

Random Thoughts will be posted at the Whim of the Author. Notes From The Second Half. When I was growing up my Mom loved to rearrange the furniture. But then, I started school.
