Notes II: January 2008
http://notesinthemarginskab.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Occasional ramblings about life in all of its color. Thursday, January 31, 2008. This year, I'm going to try to record all the books I read, just for curiosity's sake. So here's January:. 1 The Year of Living Biblically by A.J. Jacobs. Well-written, thought-provoking, funny and snappy. 2 Blessings by Anna Quindlen. Fluffy fiction, not so well written, not my favorite. Wouldn't read it again. I think that's all for January. Reading the Bible in a year. Saturday, January 5, 2008. I just finished a book cal...
Notes II: Adding Beauty
http://notesinthemarginskab.blogspot.com/2008/07/adding-beauty.html
Occasional ramblings about life in all of its color. Friday, July 4, 2008. My next-door neighbor hangs her wash out to dry. This is not too unusual, although in the days of hurried lives and convenient dryers, it is certainly not common. But what I consider the noteworthy thing is that my neighbor hangs her clothing out by color. To follow the footsteps of the Creator, we all, regardless of talent or spotlight, must add beauty where we can in the places where He has allowed us to create.
Notes II: March book list
http://notesinthemarginskab.blogspot.com/2008/03/march-book-list.html
Occasional ramblings about life in all of its color. Sunday, March 16, 2008. 1 Adoption as a Ministry, Adoption as a Blessing by Michelle Gardner. Very good book - about a family living overseas who adopted many children with disabilities. It also talks about God's heart for adoption as seen in Scripture. An iteresting idea it brings up: many of the "greats" in the Bible were adopted! Think Moses, Esther, Samuel, even Jesus was adopted by Joseph! You get old stories with "new" perspective.

Notes in the Lunch Box
Notes in the Lunch Box. Peanut butter and jelly with a side of love * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *. My goal is to. Have a little part of me go in each of these lunch boxes - a little snippet of Daddy. A little laughter, a little cleverness, a little inside joke, a little rhyming.and a ton of love. I want my kids to be reminded every time they open their lunch at school how much they mean to me. How much I love them. And maybe be a little entertained in the process. Links to this post.
Notes In The Margin - Mwezzi will doodle for hugs.
Notes In The Margin. Thursday, July 02, 2009. Tosh is a good word. I was recently told that I just suffer from a negative attitude. I probably do, but then I was pretty positive before I failed to get any better after years of trying. You try consistently failing for months on end and tell me how you feel after that. Still, I took that as a personal. I stopped again pretty quickly. Looks off, to me. I managed to identify all the shapes fairly well. Wrong and fix it. See what I have to work against? Monda...
