Cassoulet With Pork, Duck, Mutton and Polish Sausauge – The Nourished Notebook
https://nourishednotebook.wordpress.com/2013/07/11/cassoulet-with-pork-duck-mutton-and-polish-sausauge
Experiments in the Kitchen and Beyond. Cassoulet With Pork, Duck, Mutton and Polish Sausauge. My goal was to try and cut the cooking time to a day or an evening for the next day enjoyment. This is not a quick recipe, nor is it vegetarian. You can hunt online for both options, but I’m looking for tender stewed meat and beans that have slowly absorbed all of the rich flavours of the meats. Sometimes good things cannot be rushed. Cassoulet With Pork, Duck, Mutton and Polish Sausauge. 5 sprigs fresh thyme.
Leek and Potato Soup – The Nourished Notebook
https://nourishednotebook.wordpress.com/2014/01/14/leek-and-potato-soup
Experiments in the Kitchen and Beyond. Leek and Potato Soup. I love this soup. It is one of my favorites. It’s creamy, light and rich but very low in calories. Usually I only used the white part of the leek but to get a stronger leek flavor, add fiber and color I included half of the green portion. I still trimed and disposed the top half of the green section and outside leaves because they looked tough and old. Leek and Potato Soup Recipe. Servings approx. 8-12. 4 large potatoes with skin chopped. If yo...

Day 523 (Cool): Just a whole bunch of unfortunates really…. May 29, 2013 in Uncategorized. It’s been a while eh. I always wonder who it is that still checks back every now and then on me. I’m always pleasantly surprised to see 1 or 2 views on my blog even though it’s been neglected for so long. I hope it’s really someone clicking and not WordPress making up stats to make me feel better. The fundraising went well, I managed to raise $690! 90 over my target! Really happy about that. 3 days later the surgeo...

https://rabbitdownunder.wordpress.com/2016/06/10/im-back
June 10, 2016 in Uncategorized. I decided to check in, as I often do when I wonder if anyone still checks my much neglected blog. I always feel special, because every month there’s always 1 or 2 people who will check in on me. I like to believe that its not some automated software that scans blogs. My last post was in January 2015, 2 months before my wedding. I’ve been married for over a year now and I feel very lucky to say that it still makes me so happy to wake up with him beside me. It’s been t...

Day 349 (Warm): My mom. December 2, 2012 in Uncategorized. My family… oh my family…. I’m sure you’ve all read some short bits and some long bits from my blog about my family. Some funny bits, some sad bits, and probably mostly dysfunctional bits. After much convincing by Leonie and I my aunt still wouldn’t take the trip! Offer accepted. This is just one of the many examples of the weight of my mom’s words in our family. Rabbit's first trip home. Rabbit's Fitness Competition! Rabbit's food column. You are...

Day 622 (Sunny): A whole new beginning…. September 5, 2013 in Uncategorized. 2013…. where should I even start. Who would’ve known, I certainly wouldn’t have guessed that there will be this many changes to my life in 9 months. In the last two weeks I finally feel that my life is beginning the path that I had spent the last 5 years trying to get to. Now that is an amazing feeling! Now to top it off, my knee has been fixed and I’m finally hobbling along to recovery! Rabbit's first trip home. Rabbit's S...

February 7, 2014 in Uncategorized. Feels weird using that word, but I can’t be happier. Steve proposed while we were in Toronto on our whirlwind trip for my brother’s wedding last weekend. We were literally back for a weekend and I can’t believe how much has happened. The feeling is surreal. Although I’ve always said I love the title of fiance simply because it’s such a pretty word, I never thought I would get there. Rabbit's first trip home. Rabbit's Fitness Competition! Life after debt: New goals set for 2016! Saturday, April 16, 2016. I have been waiting to write this post since I published my first one. I am student-debt freeee. Has been extremely calculated and portioned off to different bills and debt repayment, with little to nothing left-over for me. But this is about to change. 2500 every single month.
