Saturday, September 6, 2014. Schooner Parade of Sail. On Sunday August 31, twelve Nashoba Valley Photo Club members and friends took the Yankee Freedom out of Gloucester to photograph the Schooner Parade of Sail and the start of the Mayor’s Race off Eastern Point which were the culmination of the Gloucester Schooner Festival. The weather was perfect with enough wind to provide great pictures of the schooners while not creating seas which would make us seasick. Jim Coutre and his wife Jane.

About four years ago he transitioned to digital and now shoots with Nikon equipment such as the D3, D300 and D200. Jim works as a commercial photographer specializing in family. Life portraits, weddings, mitzvahs and charity events. Recently he has expanded into landscapes, cityscapes and night scenes. Jim’s other interests include sailing and computers.
