Airshow #3 | My Photographic Adventure
https://michaellos.wordpress.com/2011/06/26/airshow-3
NVPC Spring Portrait Workshop. I attended the Rhode Island Air Show at Quonset ANGB yesterday. This was my third ever. This is a great show. There were many static displays and plenty of great views along the flight line. I arrived early so didn’t have any trouble getting the car parked and it only took just over 1/2 hour to get out of the airport at the end (beats 2.5 hours at portsmouth air show). The day started slow given the low cloud ceiling, but the weather ended up being good for the afternoon.

NVPC Spring Portrait Workshop. NVPC Spring Portrait Workshop. I attended a portrait workshop put on recently by Nashoba Valley Photo Club. A local professional portrait photographer spoke for about an hour on lighting and posing and then there was a couple of hours for photographing the models. There were two mult-light setups with studio strobes and two windows for natural light. Check out some pics here. This entry was posted on March 25, 2011 by mlos100. It was filed under Portrait.

Monday, October 28, 2013. Field Level at Gillette. Thanks to Tom Briere and his son Evan, eleven NVPC members had a fantastic opportunity to shoot at field level of the Gillette Stadium on Saturday, October 26th—up close and personal! Thank You Kiteboarders! | My Photographic Adventure
https://michaellos.wordpress.com/2011/03/19/thank-you-kiteboarders
NVPC Spring Portrait Workshop. I was in the Tampa area recently on a business trip and stayed a couple of extra days to photograph some birds. A couple of days it was really windy and there are only so many pictures of a laughing gull one can take. At Picnic Island Park in Tampa and Sand Key Park in Clearwater, I happened across some kiteboarders and tried to position myself to get some photos. These guys were great! Here are a few images. Maybe you’ll happen across them someday. It was filed under sports.

NVPC Spring Portrait Workshop. A Couple More New Firsts. UMass Offense Lined Up. This was my first visit to Gillette Stadium and first time shooting college football from the sidelines — Division 1 and at Gillette no less! I had a great time. I enjoyed the perspective of the game at field level and experiencing the challenges of photographing from there. The outcome of the game came down to the last few seconds. Unfortunately UMass lost by 1 point — 31 to 30. I posted some other photos on Flickr here.
