Acorns of information from the family! Wednesday, January 2, 2008. Derlani is now 1 year old! Celebrated several times and enjoyed her cake and then her presents. Actually, she was more excited to climb on the presents and push them around! She is walking all over the place now and is getting better every day! Acorns of information from the family! Monday, December 24, 2007. Christmas Sunday - 12/23/2007. What a great day we had! As I sat in church this morning I was looking at Derlani and thinking about a year ago this time! I didn't even know she was going to arrive and become a part of our family. As I listened to the Christmas story being read, the tears began to roll down my face. As God gave His Son and it was said, "a child is born, a Son is given - upon whom My favor rests." His favor rests on us!

Acorns of information from the family! Wednesday, December 26, 2007. The Christ Child is born and we celebrate His birth! What a great Christmas Eve service and time with friends and family! Mom and Dad were at the first service and then they took the kids home (their house) and I stayed to sing in the choir for the second service. We had a packed house for first service and a good crowd for second. We want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a very Happy and Blessed New Year! We love you all!

Acorns of information from the family! Saturday, January 5, 2008. Nathaniel had his first basketball game this afternoon and did. He scored 7 or 8 baskets and rebounded several. He loves basketball and I hope he stays interested in the sport. He also likes soccer and all sorts of video games. His little sister watched him play today and seemed to enjoy the game. I sure did! I just wanted to update this today for all those that have been watching and waiting for this announcement! Kyson and Laurie are a family together now and doing great! There were several at the airport last night and it was very exciting! The plane landed fifteen minutes early and we were able to watch as the escorts carried Kyson (sleeping) into the airport and down the hall to his anxious awaiting Mommy!

I was shocked - the judge didnt ask me any questions at all! Tatiana and Irena told me that my speech was excellent. (who knew I could write that well! Because the prosecutor wasn't there, I will have to meet with him (? I'll still be flying out at the original time (4:00 am Sat morning) and arrive in Chi-town at 10:30 am! Keep saying those prayers for me!

Well, you asked for them, so you got them! Yesterday at the baby house was wonderful. Kyson was in such a great mood. I ended up taking all of his clothes off (except his diaper) so I could see if he had all 10 toes and was shocked at how little he is! It looks to me like he's all legs so hopefully he'll be a tall boy when he grows up.

She got one for Christmas and absolutely loves it! She is mesmerized as she watches. She was running a fever yesterday and had to come home and so I put the video in and she sat quietly and eventually fell asleep. I love the different praise songs that they sing.
