OBSERVATIONS FROM SATURN
Daily observations of many aspects of our existence on Earth. Sarcasim, fun, and politics plus philosophies on everything from relationships between men and women, to buying vegetables from Mexico will be discussed until I pass on, or just get bored with Myself, before you do! But, I do this for me and my personal record, rather than a following, but if anyone reads anything that you agree or disagree with, PLEASE RESPOND. Serious debate is great, but keep it honest! Observations from Steerage
Thursday, July 30, 2015. Well, I've Got My Health. In high school, I had my share of drinking parties and foolish pranks and stunts. In my twenties, I took up smoking along with turning drinking into an art form. I experimented with whatever drug was handy at the time, I drove recklessly and I took stupid risks. Through all of this I stayed pretty healthy. These things make me appreciate the health I have. I try to take better care of myself these days. I've learned to be thankful for my good luc...July ...

Observations from the Average
Observations from the Average. Thursday, December 18, 2008. Bashing vs. humor. George W. Bush has the distinction of being the most hated political figure in the world right now. No person has taken more criticism for his decisions, more second-guessing, and more flat-out resentment than he. Type in 'bush' on the Facebook Flair application page and see what you find. My question: Is there a point in which we become too critical of a president? Is there a point where 'political humor' becomes unreasonable?

Observations from the Cuckoo's Nest
Observations from the Cuckoo's Nest. Perfecting the Art of Chaos. Thursday, November 8, 2012. One thing I learned from our prior daycare debacle was when something isn't working for CJ, to move on. Not everyone can deal with him and the behaviors that SPD can bring on top of a highly spirited personality. We moved him from a situation that wasn't right and ended up very happy. He loved his preschool teacher. Then Ms. M began to tell me that "something had to be done with CJ." Translates to: You n...One d...

Observations from the Dog House
Observations from the Dog House. Because dogs are awesome. Thursday, March 19, 2015. Carlos Hathcock the Marine-. Modern American Heroes · The Story of Legendary Sniper Carlos Hathcock. Because there are positive roles models too! Years ago I read some books on Carlos Hathcock. Marine Sniper- What stuck out in my mind so much was the ability for Carlos to concentrate. There was a story about him crawling through an open field for 3 days! Then after everything that he went through during those 3 days on h...

So, it’s been nearly four months since my last post. I am a bad blogger. Today we play catchup. While I had the lofty dream of keeping everyone updated each month during the year prior to the big ‘I Do’, I apparently do not have enough self-discipline to accomplish this. So today we will try something new. Today, you will get three and a half months worth of wedding planning thrown at you. All in all, January was a super successful month. Go January. Oh February – the month dedicated to love. S...In othe...

observations from the invisible woman | Have you seen me lately?
Observations from the invisible woman. Have you seen me lately? December 3, 2014. 2015: The Year of Less. First up, less STUFF. That give us the best memories of our loved ones, it’s the experiences. Are stressful. When Mt. Washmore reaches epic proportions and piles of laundry take over any open spaces on furniture, it frustrates me. There are four humans and two dogs in this house. That can generate quite a bit of laundry. One day I realized, we just don’t need this much stuff! I came across this quote:.

Observations from the Main Line
Observations from the Main Line. Friday, April 1, 2011. Before we purchased our current home, I did a drive by to do my preliminary list of pros and cons. As I approached the house, this is what confronted me in the front yard:. It was almost a deal breaker for me. Luckily, my more level-headed husband suggested we buy a chain saw, chop it down and move it to the backyard. This was on our short list of things to do when we moved in, but five years later the eagle still resides on our front lawn. Sculptur...
